Kat had enough already. Liam was constantly hounding her to do the right things and what and what not to be eating as if he was the pregnancy authority.Suddenly, this perfect idea seemed so bad.He was going to have her in a straight jacket soon.
Kat sat at the dining table with all five boys staring at her as she ate the bland, flavorless, rice and salmon Liam sat in front of her.She picked at it with her fork,flaking the fish as the smell made her want to gag.
"I can't eat this. I'm going to throw up.Get it away from me!"
"Kat ,love, what's wrong?",Louis asked tossing the plate on the counter.
"I'm sick and tired of you assholes trying to control what I eat and drink, what things I do. I'm pregnant,not helpless and stupid."
"Ah, guys,I think I know what's going on." Zayn said rubbing Kat on the top of her head.
"What,man."Harry said leaning on his elbows.
"Preggo chick hormones,dude."
Kat gave Zayn a sweet smile right before she punched him in the gut."Ass!" She threw her fork at him and ran to her room.
Niall held up a hand to all the other guys and followed her. He opened her door and stuck his head in,surprised to her see her stuffing gummy bears in her mouth.
"Hey,where'd ya get those? Share?", he said holding his hand out.
"Dunno. They were just here.", Kat said filling his cupped hand.
"Kat,can I ask you something?
"Sure,Ni. What do you want to know?"
"Why are you doing this? Really. I can tell you aren't some crazed fan so what's the real reason."
"The money,okay. I need the money for my dad."
"What's wrong with your dad? Drug problem , gambling issue, alcoholic?"
Kat jumped up flying at Niall,swinging her fist,hitting him wherever her punches landed."Don't ever say things like that about my dad ,you son of a bitch. He has cancer,if he doesn't keep up with his therapy and drug dosages,he could die!"
"I'm so sorry,Kat, I had no idea."
"Of course you didn't ass face, I didn't tell you. Now get out of my room."
Niall stood there stunned for a moment as Kat opened the nightstand drawer and pulled out a massive chocolate bar. She opened it and took a big bite before looking at him.
"What are you looking at? Now go!"
Niall nodded and walked back out into the living room shaking. The guys circled him all wanting to know what was wrong.
"Her dad has cancer,she's doing this for the money to help him. She...she...",his voice trailed off
Suddenly Niall broke down and cried,not sure if he could explain to the guys why he was so upset and he didn't want them to laugh.
"So,basically,she's one hundred percent taking the money and running away from us when this is over.Wonderful",Liam yelled out,punching the wall.
"This is what we want to happen though,right." Zayn said giving Liam a raised eyebrow.
"Well, well, maybe plans change,Zayn."
They all watched as Liam ran to his room and slammed the door closed. A high pitched wail made the walls shake. They knew exactly what was going on.
"This is all Danielle's fault. We know it." Niall gave them a thoughtful look.
"All these years later and it's still hurting him.",Louis said,wiping away tears.
"Louis, what can we do to convince her not to leave us,Liam will be fucked up for the rest of his life.",Harry said,laying his head on Lou's shoulder.
"She did say she was doing this for the money, to pay for her dad's cancer treatments. What if we send the Oncologist money to cover her dad's bills?"
"You are a genius, Lou!"
"Hold up boys, if she finds out we did that, she would rip our faces off.",Zayn said,still rubbing the tender spot on his stomach,"And let me tell ya, she has quite a left hook."
"Harry, maybe you could go tell Kat about The Incident with Danielle ,I said I would but I can't go back in there right now. She's pissed at me.",Niall said,wiping the tears from his face.
"Sure thing,Ni."
Harry walked down the long hall and heard Liam crying but also weeping coming from Kat's room A crying Liam was hard to deal with, a crying girl, easy. Harry would just have to turn on the charm,he just hoped it would work with Kat, she wasn't like any other girl he had ever met.
He knocked on her door and got a muffled reply that he could tell was a clear go away ass face. Well, he was not an ass face so he entered.
"Look,Kat, we need to talk,alright. There's things you need to know."
"What do you have to tell me that I must possibly know? Another restriction, another absurd rule? Going to punish me for not eating my dinner?"
Harry chuckled,"As much as I would love to spank your nicely rounded bum, no,that's not why I'm here."
"Then what's up?"
"May I sit first?"
"Sure, go for it. It's your house."
"Listen, this is kind of a long,not so nice story. Just let me finish before you say anything,alright?"
Kat nodded and sat back on her pillows,"Go for it."
"Okay back in 2012, Liam had a girlfriend named Danielle. They had been together for ages,seemed happy to everyone but behind closed doors,they fought quite a bit. Mostly her attacking him for some imagined reason or some hate she got from a fan. Then they found out she was pregnant. Instead of discussing it with him, she went and had an abortion behind his back. He found out about it only because she used his credit card to pay for it. When he realized what had happened,they split up. A few weeks later, after much pleading and begging and apologizing on her part, they got back together. Then in May of 2013, she did it again,this time saying she didn't want to ruin her body or career for him and his brat. He was crushed. Lashing out at fans and drinking heavily. We stood by him the whole time and watched his downward spiral. Last year,he finally started acting like Liam again. Kat, to Liam,it doesn't matter who's sperm made those twins in your belly, they're his babies. He thinks it's divine intervention and he gets back those kids who were stolen from him before. So,please,try to be a little understanding, even when he does go over board. "
Kat sat,trying to process what Harry told her before she jumped to her feet and ran to Liam's room. She was determined to make peace with Daddy Direction. She didn't know he had been with a total bitch.
"He's not in there,he went out for some fresh air.",Louis said behind her.
"Well, while we wait, is there any real food in this house? I'm dying for something gooey and greasy.",Kat said with a smile.
"Naughty cow. Come on, I think I have some left over pepperoni pizza in the fridge."
Samantha and Arrabella sat watching the monitors. They both had the same thought. How could this knowledge be exploited and made entertaining?
"I have a devious idea,Sam."
"What,pray tell could that be,Arra?"
"Let's find this Danielle and "invite" her to the house. Anonymously of course."
"Perfection as usual."
"Let me find her and see where she is now, this is going to be rich."
