It Happened One Night
It was over before it started
Ruby POV
Everyone was singing along to the radio as we drove to the arena. I wasn't surprised that Ellie didn't join in obviously not wanting to attract attention from Harry. She say quietly with headphones in as we all shouted the words to Year 3000. Louis was driving so we would probably be late for the show at the pace he drives but no matter the vibe in this car was comfortable, at least from the front. Unluckily Ellie was cooped up at the back with Harry and Nicole. How Awkward. I was sitting next to Zayn, admiring his jaw lines feeling jealous of his fierce looks, i found myself rather plain.
"You look beautiful baby" Zayn obviously heard my thoughts, my cheeks turned rosy as i tucked a strand of hair away from my face and carried on singing the song. He then poked out him tounge to me and i took a picture of him.

I turned my head to see how uncomfortable Ellie was but she actually looked at peace just starring out the window not daring to look to her left in case she got sucked in my Harry's marble green eyes. She looked at me and nodded that was the signal letting me know she was okay with him there. I just hope that she will find someone good for here like Zayn is good for me. I really hope she finds someone, well, someone like Harry.
Harry was the perfect Boyfriend, he brought her flowers, gave her chocolate and spoiled her with love but it just happened one night. He was drunk at a party with Nicole and they ended up in bed together. The next morning Nicole told Ellie as soon as she got home, leaving Harry to deal with Ellie second time round as she'd wound up with more fury then speaking to Nicole. Nicole and Ellie bickered but we are all friends and wouldn't let a boy come between us. Now we've ended up here in the car with everyone as Ellie tries her best to avoided any contact with Harry. Even as he opens his mouth she turns her head a little more to the right. This car ride feels a lot longer than I expected.
Harry POV
It was obvious Ellie was avoiding me but i don't want this awkward cloud floating over us, it is killing my mood. So I took matters into my own hands. "Lovely night isn't it?" I asked hopeful but she turned her head the other way. A smile crept onto her face as she purposely ignored me. "Hello? Miss Unsociable do you mine removing your headphones?" i questioned with a cheeky grin. She turned her head to me and i looked deep into her lime green eyes. It does take my breathe away every time i looked into her eyes. "What can I do you the pleasure of Mr Sociable?" she quirked an eyebrow up. My God i loved when she did that. "You could talk to me?" I gave a friendly smile increasing the size of my dimple and fluttering my eye lashes.
Before she could reply the car came to a sharp stop. "Okay were here!" Louis chimed as he climbed out the car.
"Fuck" I huffed, the one time she spoke to me and it was over before it started.
