Amanda's POV:
I stood watching him while he thought. I knew this must be hard for him. It was hard for me. I just wanted to run over and hug him. He had changed in the time I had been gone. He looked thinner, and had bags under his eyes. I wanted to believe it wasnt me that had cause him to be this way.
I looked down at Macey, who looked frightened herself. She would grow up without a father. I didnt know what that was like, but it would be difficult. Being a single parent and all. I would have to move. That was a given. I couldn't risk running into Louis or his friends.
I would also have to get a job. I had graduated a culinary school, so something with cooking probably. My life would change greatly no doubt. I looked back at him. Finally he looked up.
Louis's POV:
I looked up at Amanda. "I'll stay away." I said quietly, knowing the alternative was going to jail. All 5 of us. I fought back tears. I saw her gulp. Was she sad too? Did she still love me even a little? "Can I at least say goodbye to Macey?" I asked quietly. Amanda nodded, and set Macey on the floor.
They cleared from the room, leaving just me, Macey, and the boys. I knelt down in front i my daughter and hugged her. "Daddy." She said. I wanted to cry. I kissed her cheek and whispered "I love you baby girl."
The boys hugged her as well, then i hugged her again. I couldn't believe I was losing her. Amanda and Riley came back in. The police and paramedics had left seeing there was no danger.
Amanda watched me hugging Macey. Suddenly Harry spoke," smooth Amanda." "What is your problem!" Yelled Riley, trying to move forward but Amanda caught her arm. "My problem is she had Louis call of the court date. What was she that afraid she would lose. Thought you were confidant"
"I am." Said Amanda quietly. "She is hotshot!" Yelled Riley, struggling to break Amanda's grip. "Riley." Hissed Amanda, struggling to restrain her. Finally Riley broke free, and marched right up to Harry.
"We are both dead confidant the judge would sen you to your grave." She said, jabbing a finger at his chest. "Is that a challenge?" Asked Harry, I suddenly realized what he was doing. "You bet it." Said Riley. "See you in court sweet heart." He said. "Yeah I can't wait to see you die." She said, before storming towards the door.
I wanted to cheer! Although my chances were slimmer after the "kidnap" incident, I still had a shot. I released Macey, and Amanda scooped her up. "See you tomorrow." I said, getting to my feet. "Yup." She said, turning and following her friend out.
"Nice!" I commended Harry, and he grinned. "I try." He said, sinking onto the couch. "Her friends got a mouth." Declared Niall sitting. "Yeah I figured I could get the best of her." Said Harry smugly. "Yeah yeah we still have court." Liam reminded us. I sighed. Tomorrow would be intresting.
