Louis's POV:
Who was being so formal with me on the phone? When te voice continued, I could hardly hold onto the phone. The talked about Amanda on a tall bridge. Refusing to come down. "Doctors from her therapy house have identified her. Please come down an confirm." Said the monotone voice.
I couldn't respond, I was too shocked. My Amanda was up on a bridge. I knew what that meant. I couldn't belive I had risked her life! I swore to myself I would never drink again. "Sir?" Asked the voice. I gulped an responded,"A-Alright. I'll be on te next flight.
I hung up the phone, and it fell to the floor. "Who was it? What's wrong?" Asked Riley. "A-Amanda. Shes on a bridge refusing to come down." I gulped. Riley whipped out her phone and began texting madly.
"Who are you texting?" I asked. "The boys. They'll want to know." She replied. "WAIT! What if they come over!!!!!!!" I pointed out. She caught on, but shrugged and said,"say I came to check on Macey.
I felt bad about lieing to my friends, but Ididnt need Harry crushed too. I nodded slowly. Then I checked flight times. "They're on their way!" Reported Riley. I sighed. Amanda. Hang in there.
Amanda's POV:
I don't know what was going through my head. Honestly, I'll i could see was black fuzz. I wasnt going to jump. No I wasnt that stupid. I just needed a break. However the cops, paramedics, doctors, firefighters, and bystanders thought otherwise.
I sat on the edge, kicking my feet while shouts of "get down!!" And "don't jump!" Sounded behind me. The water below looked cool, and would probably feel good on this hot day. Maybe after I got down I would wade in.
I thought about Louis then, and tears sprung up. I couldn't believe he had slept with a random girl again! The day after I left! Hadnt we only gotten back together 2 days ago!!!!! Geez men were stupid.
At least I had 3 years before I had to see him again. Even then, I wouldn't stay with him. Sure I had said I lived him, but I couldn't do this again. I wouldn't move far, that would only complicate Emma's life. Just to a different city.
All these thoughts made my head hurt. This place would be great for thinking without all the yelling. Whatever they could yell all the wanted. I wasnt coming down until I was good and ready.
Louiss POV:
The first guys to show up were Niall and Harry. Niall came in and yelled,"im coming with you!" He had never been this forward before. He must really care for Amanda. Harry however could care less of the situation. He just started kissing Riley.
"Why are you in the same clothes as yesterday?" He asked her. What? She didnt come to the club with us? "I was so tired from babysitting, Icrashed on the couch." She lied. He didnt seem completely convinced though. He simply nodded, and returned to kissing her.
The door swung open and Liam rushed in. "LOUIS!" He yelled, and rushed into te living room. Zayn follorwed. "Ok so I have to go to Amanda!" I declared. "Im going too!" Declared Niall. "Me too!" Declared Riley.
"Alright Harry, Liam, Zayn. I need you to stay back and babysit." I said. Liam and Zayn nodded, but Harry glared at me. "Im coming too!" He demanded. I don't think he trusted me and Riley. I knew he had good reason to though.
"Fine. But we need to go!" I said. "Ill drive!" Volunteered Niall, and we charged from the house. At the airport, we were flocked by fans and paparazzi. I had no time for this. "GET OUT OF MY WAY!" I yelled,
The plane was small, the flight was long. When we finally reached our destination, I was about to lose my mind at how slow airports go. Every minute I was wre was a minute that I didnt know what Amanda was doing.
When we finally got out, we jumped into a cab. I gave the driver directions, and we sped off. "Did you hear about the "jumper." Asked the cab driver. "Er, yeah." Answered Harry. I looked down at my hands.
Thankfully the driver didnt ask anymore questions. We reached the bridge, and I climbed out and looked up. I spotted Amanda, she looked so small. She was really high up.
Amanda's POV:
Suddenly Inheard the voice I least wanted to hear. Louis's. I scanned the crowds for him. I spotted him with Riley, Niall, and Harry at the base of the bridge. They seemed so far away.
I leaned forward to get a better view, but suddenly slipped. I finally comprehended I was falling. Screams echoed around me, and I realized some were my own. "NO AMANDA!!!!!" Screamed Louis. That was the last thing I heard. Before I hit the water hard, and lost consciousness
