Can He do That
Louis's POV:
I stared at Amanda in shock. She had threatened this the night I had cheated, but no my nightmare was becoming a reality. "No." I said quietly. She slowly nodded. Her lawyer and she sat. The layer placed the paper in front of her.
She sat for a minute. Thinking I guess. I mentally tried to tell her to stop! Drop the pen! Apparently my messages didnt go through. She took a breath, and without even looking up, began filling out her part.
As she worked, I kept silently begging her to stop. Rip up the paper! But it did nothing. She soon finished with a signature. The paper was passed to me. I didnt even grab te pen. I simply got to my feet.
"No." I said loudly. They both looked at me in shock. "No. I won't sign this." I said, picking up the papers. I then tore them in half, and crumpled them into a ball. "Can he do that?" Amanda asked, and the lawyer looked stunned.
After a minute he spoke saying,"this has never happened before." She stared at me, and I stood firm. "Louis." She started, but I cut her off. "Can we go for a quick walk Amanda." I asked firmly.
She looked shocked. She had never seen the tough side of me before I guess. Suddenly she said,"no." I looked at her in suprise. She crossed her arms, and leaned back in the chair. I looked at her lawyer who was still confused.
"Can you give us a minute." I asked. He started getting up, but Amanda stopped him by saying,"sit Dan." I knew she was stubborn, but even she was acting tough now.
"Amanda. I just want to talk to you." I said through gritted teeth. She smirked and said,"talk." "Privately." He said. I shook my head. Dan got up and said,"Amanda I think you should talk. Maybe you can sort this out. Ill be right outside."
Then it was just me and her.
Amanda's POV:
I couldn't believe he was being this way! I needed space! I couldn't be around him. "Amanda listen." He started, but I cut in saying,"LISTEN TO WHAT! YOU TELL ME YOU'VE CHANGED? YOU TELLING ME YOU STILL LOVE ME AND IT WAS JUST A MISTAKE! IT WAS A MISTAKE! BUT ONE YOU CAN'T TAKE BACK!"
He looked suprised, and sad. Tears dropped down his face. I felt horrible for hurting him. Even if he had hurt me. But I had to remain strong. "Amanda." He said, but I wouldn't let him say more. "NO LOUIS! IM DONE TALKING!" I yelled.
"Amanda!" He repeated, I could tell e was frustrated. "SHUT UP!" I yelled. "Amanda!" He said again. "WHAT! WHAT LOUIS?" I replied. "I love you." He said. Then he turned around and ran from the room leaving me speechless.
