Julia’s POV:
I’ve had this weird feeling in my stomach the rest of the day. After I told Niall that Lexi wasn’t his, I just felt like crap. I’m such a terrible person. After lunch with Niall, I went straight to my bedroom. Lexi came in wondering if I was okay, and I told her I was. I didn’t want her to worry about me. She didn’t leave after that, though. I was glad. She climbed up onto the bed and slept there next to me. Even if she didn’t know what was going on, I still loved her comfort.

“Mommy…” I heard Lexi say. I guess she was awake now.

“Hm?” I turned to look at her. She looked a lot like Niall. It pained me, to even think about him after what I did. He looked so sad when he found out…

“Can Liam and his friends come over?” She asked quietly, looking up at me.

“Not tonight, babe. They’re probably busy. Plus it’s getting pretty late.” I frowned at her, and played with her hair. She sighed and looked down.

“When can they come over again?” She asked, but I shrugged. Honestly I don’t even know if I can even face Niall after today’s events.

“I don’t know, lovely.” I smiled slightly at her. She looked back up at me and just stared.

“Mommy I’m hungry.” She told me, making me smile and laugh.

“Okay, let’s go get some food.” I sat up on the bed, and then stood up as she carefully jumped down.

“Yay! Food food food!” She chanted, giggling.

She held my hand as we walked out into the living room and I stopped in my tracks. All five boys were sitting in the living room with Christa laughing and talking about something.

“Niall!” Lexi yelled, running over to him. He smiled, and picked her up, setting her on his lap.

“Hey, kiddo.” He chuckled slightly.

“W-What are you doing here?” I asked them, stuttering.

“I invited them over.” Christa smiled happily.

“Oh.” Was all I said. I walked into the kitchen which was where I was supposed to be going in the first place. I decided to just make her a sandwich. When I finished I brought it back out to the living room, Lexi was sitting on Niall’s lap again. I smiled at the sight, and handed Lexi her food.

“So what’s up?” I asked them sitting down by Louis and Liam.

“Not much. We have an interview tomorrow, which I’m sure none of us feel like going to.” Zayn chuckled. I looked over at Niall and Lexi to see them both laughing at something, and Lexi giving Niall a piece of her sandwich. I smiled seeing how cute he was with her. I don’t know why I lied to him about this. I can see how much he cares for her and I hurt him…

The boys stayed over for another hour and it was almost nine o’ clock, past Lexi’s bed time.

“C’mon, Lex. Time for bed.” I said standing up.

“No!” She whined, clutching tighter onto Niall.

“Lexi, come on.” I said, not wanting to argue with her. Quite frankly I was getting tired myself, and I just wanted to sleep.

“No, mommy! No!” Lexi started getting louder and I did not feel like arguing with her. I sighed. “I want Niall!” She yelled, holding on to him for dear life. The other lads laughed quietly and I rolled my eyes.

“If you want, Lexi can stay with us for the night?” Liam asked, shrugging his shoulders. Niall nodded his head in agreement, clearly excited.

“Are you kidding me? I could never give you all the responsibility of my child. Trust me, she’s a lot to handle.” I said, widening my eyes.

“C’mon Jules. I’m sure we can handle her. She loves us!” Louis said, laughing.

“Especially Niall.” Harry muttered under his breath, but I still heard him. I still shook my head. I honestly haven’t had a night without Lexi. It scared me a little, to be honest. I was also scared that Niall would get really close with Lexi…he would soon figure it out. But it is the least I could do after lying to him and he didn’t even know.

“Fine…” I gave in, sighing. Liam gave a wink, letting me know he would watch her carefully.

“Yay!” Lexi clapped her hands, earning a smile from each boy. I stood up and made my way to Lexi’s room to pack an overnight bag. When I finished, I walked back into the living room seeing Lexi already get a little tired.

“Here.” I said handing Liam Lexi’s bag. I gave them all the information they needed to know about what needed to be done for her. I didn’t want to sound overprotective, but it’s my baby girl we’re talking about. Although she’ll be in her father’s hands…

Niall’s POV:
As soon as we got back to the hotel, Lexi was bouncing off the walls and running around, giggling.

“I told you not to give her that candy!” Liam scolded Louis. He gave an innocent shrug as we all tried to catch her. Man, she was fast!

“Niall, try telling her something, she listens to you.” I heard Zayn say, looking over at me. I shrugged and sighed.

“Oh Lexi, who wants a story?” I called out and she immediately stopped running. She came over to me and jumped up and down.

“STORY, STORY, STORY, STORY, STORY!” She chanted, causing me to laugh. I scooped her up and brought her into my room. The guys thought she should sleep with me tonight, since she’s the closest with me (and Liam). The boys all followed me into my room, as I laid Lexi down. I laid beside her, hoping she’d fall asleep soon.She just looked at us all, smiling, and waiting for us to tell the story.

“Once upon a time there were five boys.” Louis started off.

“No! I want unicorns!” Lexi said, whining. Louis sighed and corrected himself.

“Fine. Once upon a time there were five…unicorns.” He said, making Lexi clap.

“The unicorns all lived together in a magical tree house.” Harry continued.

“What about the queen unicorn?” Lexi looked up at us, curiously.

“Yeah, Harry. You can’t forget the queen unicorn!” I nudged his arm, getting a small giggle out of Lexi. He groaned.

“The unicorns all lived in a magical tree house in the backyard of the queen unicorn’s palace.” Lexi nodded her head in approval after Harry spoke.

“The five unicorns all worked for the queen unicorn. The queen unicorn’s name was Alexis,” Liam smiled, “and Alexis was the prettiest unicorn of them all.”

“She had special powers and used them only for good.” Zayn nodded his head.

“Why for only good?” Lexi asked again.

“Because,” Louis spoke up, “she was a nice unicorn.”

“Oh.” She said, shifting her body so her head was on my chest. I smiled down at her.

“Then one day…” I heard Harry’s voice trail off, as my eyes started shutting.

Liam’s POV:
“Is he asleep?” Louis poked Niall’s cheek, earning no response from him. He shrugged his shoulders. Lexi had fallen asleep not too long after we finished our story, and she rested on top of Niall, burying her face in the crook of his neck. It was probably the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. I pulled out my phone and snapped a picture of the two, sending it to Jules. I knew she would love this.

Julia: That is probably the cutest thing I’ve ever seen! :)
Me: See! Aren’t you glad you told him now? xx
Julia: Yeah…about that…
Me: Jules, is there something you’re not telling me?

Julia: I didn’t tell him. Matter of fact, I told him she wasn’t his.
Me: Oh god…
Julia: I got scared! Now I don’t know what to do :(
Me: You’ve got to fix this. And fast.

I sighed, shutting my phone off and placing it on the bedside table. I was now in my room, and I lay on my bed after I finished changing. What is she going to do? I thought to myself.

Niall’s POV:
I finally woke up, and I felt something on top of me. I looked down, seeing Lexi staring right back at me. I jumped a little, earning uncontrollable giggles from her. I smiled and began laughing with her. After a moment, she crawled off of me, and I sat up.

“We have to get you to school, love.” I told her, but she shook her head. She pointed down to her stomach.

“My tummy hurts.” She whined, and I knitted my eyebrows together. I scooted closer to her and felt her forehead with the back of my hand. She was burning up. I panicked, not knowing what to do. I quickly grabbed my phone and dialed Julia’s number.

“Hello?” I could tell I woke her up.

“You’re still at home I’m guessing?” I said quickly.

“Mhm.” She replied sleepily.

“Well Lexi isn’t feeling well. Instead of bringing her to pre-school, I’m just going to bring her home, okay?”

“Wait, what’s wrong? Why isn’t she feeling well? Is she crying? Is she in pain?” Jules kept rambling on, and I could tell her inner ‘momma bear’ kicked in.

“Jules, Jules, Jules. Calm down. I just think she has a small fever. Her stomach was hurting and she’s burning up.

“Okay, I’ll be here. Just come quickly.” With that, she hung up not giving me a chance to reply. I looked over at Lexi who looked as if she was about to cry.

“No, don’t cry sweetheart. It’ll be okay.” I said, kissing the top of her head. I doubt she felt like changing out of her pajamas, so I didn’t change her. I gathered everything in her bag that Jules packed, and zipped it up. I picked Lexi up and placed her on my hip, grabbing her bag. I made my way outside of my room seeing as nobody was awake yet. I’ll just send them a text later if they ask where I am.

After the not too long drive to Julia’s house, I got out of the car, and carried Lexi with me. I knocked on the door and it didn’t take long for Julia to answer. Her face filled with worry as she looked from me, to Lexi. She picked her up as I gave her over to her, and kissed her cheek.

“Oh my gosh, are you okay, baby?” Jules said to Lexi, but Lexi didn’t respond. She just rested her head on her shoulder. She let me inside the house, and I sat nervously on the couch as I waited for Jules to come out of Lexi’s room. When she did, she sat across from me on the other couch, running her hands through her long, brown hair.

“How is she, is she okay? Does she feel any better?” I asked, still worried.

“Yeah, she’s fine…” She spoke quietly, her eyes glued to the floor.

“Jules…is there something wrong?” I was really concerned at this point.

“Niall I need to tell you something…” She finally looked up at me and her eyes were red and watery.

This chapter wasn't all that good. I started some of it last night when I was tired...and it's night again...and I'm tired...lol. But I hoped you enjoyed it!
