Zayn’s POV:
The boys and I have tried long and hard to try and get Niall to do something, eat something, or go somewhere. Nothing. This boy was the most stubborn person in the world.

“Niall, get your arse up mate! You’ve got to be kidding me! It’s been weeks and you’re still the same. I understand you miss Julia and all, but it’s your fault if you think about it. You let her slip right out from under you. So I suggest you stop being so selfish and get the hell up because we have stuff to do.” I groaned, rolling my eyes. I always comforted Niall during times like these, but I’ve tried. Nothing works.

Louis and Liam shook their heads, leaving the room. Boy, was he pissing all of us off. I scoffed, leaving right behind them, leaving Niall alone is his room. As usual.

“I’m going out.” I mumbled, grabbing my keys and heading out of the door.


Ever since the lads, Julia, Christa, and I went to the park a few years ago, I always went back. It was very calming and relaxing. I needed time to get away from Niall because he was currently pissing us all off. I was sick and tired of him acting like this, bringing the rest of us down.

I sighed, getting out of my car once I arrived at the park. I shoved my hands in my pockets, making my way over to a shady spot underneath a tree. There was a girl already there. She had long dark brown hair, and a small frame of a body. Sort of like…

“Julia…?” I asked, once I got closer. The girl turned around and my eyes instantly widened. She looked a bit surprised, too but I couldn’t blame her.

“Z-Zayn? What are you doing here?” She raised an eyebrow, not moving an inch.

“I could be asking you the same thing.” I chuckled lightly, walking closer to her and sitting down next to her. She turned back around, facing the playground. I followed her eyes, and instantly spotted the little girl I’ve learned to adore.

“I’m visiting my dad…not much of a shocker there…” She shrugged her shoulders, keeping her eyes away from mine. “What about you?”

“Well, ever since you and Christa took us here a few years ago, I always come back here whenever we’re in London. It’s peaceful.” I nodded my head. It was silent between us for a little before she spoke up again.

“How’s Liam?” She asked, quietly. I knew she really cared about him. She probably knew deep down inside that it was killing him not being able to know how she was doing and if she was alright. She completely cut off all contact with us, which was a bit harsh.

“Eh, he’s holding up. Not the same old Liam, but he’s hanging in there.” I placed my hands behind me, leaning back on them.

“It’s because of me, isn’t it?” She asked, sadly. I sighed.

“He just wants to know if you’re okay. He misses you. Things haven’t been the same between us all. Especially Harry and Niall…” I raised my eyebrows, shaking my head.

“Wait…Harry and Niall? Why would—“

“UNCLE ZAYN!” I heard the familiar voice running towards me. My face lit up, just seeing her coming towards me. I smiled widely, opening up my arms for her as she happily jumped into them.

“Mini Julia!” I laughed a little, hugging her tightly, feeling her small arms wrap not even halfway around my torso.

“Uncle Zayn I missed you!” She hugged me tighter, causing my smile to grow bigger.

“I missed you too, munchkin.” I kissed the top of her head, and we both pulled away from the hug.

“Where is everyone else?” She asked, tilting her head to the side. She reminded me of Niall so much.

“Uh…they’re not here. They are at home taking a nap.” I lied, knowing they were all probably out of the house besides Niall. But I couldn’t tell a three year old her father was basically depressed. I doubt she even knows what that means.

“Something you should be doing, missy.” Jules poked her tummy, causing Lexi to giggle.

“But mommy, I’m not tired. I wanna play with Uncle Zayn!” She squealed jumping up and down as she clapped her hands.

“Babe, I’m sure Uncle Zayn has stuff to do. Probably loads of wo—“

“Last one to the swings is a rotten egg!” O shouted, standing up and running over to the swings, Lexi following behind me.

Julia’s POV:
“Promise me you won’t lose contact with me again, okay?” Zayn said, raising an eyebrow. I nodded my head, wrapping my pinky around his.

“Pinky promise.” I smiled, giving him a hug.

“Okay, I’ll see you later, love.” He hugged me back before turning and leaving the way he came.

“C’mon, Lex it’s time to go home.” Lexi came running over, intertwining her fingers with mine.



Once we got back home, I decided to text Zayn. I wanted to thank him for playing with Lexi today, and sticking around to talk to me for a little. I made a big mistake by not speaking to the boys again. Well some of them…

Julia: it was nice seeing you today! Missed you lots! :) xx


Liam’s POV:
“Zayn, have you seen my—“ I sighed, as I walked in his room seeing that he wasn’t there.

“I’m downstairs!” He called back from the kitchen. I groaned before turning to head out of the door.

I stopped in my tracks, hearing a buzzing noise coming from his dresser. I turned around, seeing his phone lit up. I decided to just bring it downstairs to him since I was going there anyways. I walked over, taking the phone in my hands. I left his room, making my way to Zayn before it buzzed once again. I couldn’t help but wonder who it was. I glanced down quickly not wanting to be nosey. Eh, too late. When I looked away from his phone, I froze.

Did I read that right?

I looked back down, seeing a text from Jules. What is going on? Did they hang out today? Is that where Zayn went without telling us. Without telling I me?

“What the hell is this?” I said to Zayn once I got downstairs. I held his phone up as he turned around, and his body stiffened.

Was Zayn talking to Jules this entire time behind our backs?
