Chapter 4: A Load of Bullshit (Zayn’s P.O.V.)
I was so happy that we were back to work. One good thing came out of that day off though, I learned of Tori-Ly. I loved listening to her covers. She had such an amazing singing voice. Not to mention that she had her own style that I liked.
We were prepping for our next concert. I don’t know how it managed to happen, but I was the first one ready, so I had some time to kill. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and decided to check YouTube. It was a Friday, and I had noticed that Tori-Ly usually uploaded new videos on Fridays.
Once the app loaded, I saw that there was a new video uploaded by someone that I was subscribed to. I clicked and quickly learned that it was from Tori-Ly. I clipped on the video and waited for it to load. I was so anxious to see what song she was planning.
“Hey guys. Tori-Ly here.” She waved, “First off, I’m sorry but there won’t be a cover for this week. That is one reason for this announcement, but I have another.”
I frowned as she said that she wouldn’t be doing a cover for this week, but I could understand. She had other things that she had to do with her life.
I listened as she continued, “I’m afraid that I can’t cover anymore songs by One Direction.”
I looked at my phone funny. I could tell that she was upset about that, but why?
“I received a rather unpleasant phone call saying that I shouldn’t do anymore covers of One Direction so I have decided not to. I am so sorry for those of you out there that were hoping for more of them. I will try to make up for it, but I’m not sure if I will be able to. That is also the other reason why there won’t be a video, because I had chosen another 1D song for this week.” She let out a sigh, “Again guys, I am really sorry and I hope that I can make it up to you guys.”
She smiled up at me, “Well, thanks for watching and can’t wait to put something new up for you guys. Love you.”
I was aggravated as the replay button appeared on my screen. I couldn’t believe that anymore had told her that she shouldn’t be doing covers of our songs. I thought she did an amazing job. Someone might actually believe that Rock Me was an original song by her and not a cover of one of our songs.
I stood up and headed over to the other guys. They were still in the dressing room and I had went out to wait in the lounge. I stuck my head in the door, “You guys won’t believe this bullshit.”
They all looked at me a little strange. I don’t think that was what they expected me to say when I walked into the room.
“What bullshit?”
I looked over at Niall, holding up my phone. “Tori-Ly isn’t covering anymore of our songs.”
“What?” Louis asked as he walked over to me, “Why not?”
“Apparently someone told her that she shouldn’t, so she said that she wouldn’t.”
“That is a load of bullshit.” Harry huffed, “Who the hell would tell her that?”
I shrug my shoulders, “I don’t know.”
“Well, whoever it is,” Niall said, “should be slapped.”
Liam nodded his head in agreement as he walked to over to me, “Yeah, they are stupid.”
“You got that right,” I nodded.
Niall and Harry came over to join the other two as they asked me to replay the video. I did and they watched. I could see that they weren’t very happy about the video either.
“That is the biggest load of bullshit that I had ever heard.” Niall growled as he went back to his seat. “I hate whoever told her that.”
“I think we all do,” Liam added as he leaned on the wall beside me.
I watched as everyone looked down at the floor. We all hated this and we wanted to do something about it. That was when I thought, there was something that I could do.
I went to Twitter and started typing.

I waited for the tweet to send. A smile came to my face as it sent. I hoped that my tweet would help cheer her up. I also hoped that she would take my advice and prove them wrong by recording more covers by us.
“You guys are on.” Someone said as they stuck their head in the door behind me.
I sighed. I guess I was just going to have to wait and see.
