Niall was choking on his tears and getting a bit hysterical. Hadley was surprised when Niall wrapped his arms around her and laid his head on her chest. She didn't seem to mind because it meant they are making progress. She told him to sip some water and calm down so he can finish telling her the story because telling someone helps relieve the ache, that is something she learned from all the classes and books she has been studying. When he finally calmed down he continued, He was shaking a ridiculous amount and stuttering but Hadley was able to understand him better.
He said or well stuttered, "She got off of me and I waited impatiently as she went away for whatever reason. Then the door opened and I thought it was her but it was her older brother. I blushed feeling embarrassed thinking he had just walked in on accident but then he started getting undressed himself. Mackenzie wasn't anywhere to be found and I tried screaming for her but she never came back. Well she came back after..." Niall couldn't get out the words.
Hadley encouraged him to say it because it would help. He trusted her even though it was incredibly hard for him to trust anyone anymore.
"Mackenzie came back after her brother raped me. Then she took her turn on me, using a whip, before untying me and turning me loose. She told me not to call her ever again and that I meant nothing to her. Then she told me everything that all the haters were saying on Twitter and I knew it was all true at that moment. I left her house, bloody, heartbroken, violated and practically crippled. That night I cut dangerously close to my major veins hoping to end it all. I also contemplated overdosing but I was too weak after the blood lose and all that had taken place that day. I woke up the next morning and my body was in excruciating pain. I called in sick to work and just laid watching TV all day feeling empty and hollow. Do you have any idea how it feels to be living but you feel dead inside?"
Hadley realized he hadn't intended for her to answer that when he kept talking.
"That's how I've felt ever since then. I went for a few weeks trying to hide the pain I was feeling and to hide that I hadn't slept in weeks because I kept having nightmare of her and her brother raping me. I didn't deserve to live. I mean what man manages to get raped not only by a guy but a girl as well? Not to mention, I am not sure that I will ever be able to have kids with the damage they caused. So I decided since I was the most worthless a man could get, that I should end it all. And I'm sure you can figure out the rest since you were the one that found me."
"Do you really hate me for saving you? Do you really want to die Niall?"
Hadley ran her fingers through Niall's hair and he sighed happily.
"I did, but I am not sure anymore."
