yeah it is. in the summer it's usually 33C on a regular basis but it sometimes gets up to 40C or even a little higher.

(btw you probably don't want to come where I live we literally just had 2 blizzards in a row, it's 10 degrees BELOW zero Celsius and there's a foot of snow. Australians aren't accustomed to that.)
