Dear Alice - Comments

Sorry for the double messages....my Apple iCrap mini never works properly and is always crashing, so I never know if the message is sent or not.

OMG, Shannon! I'm like a ravenous wolf! I was so excited when I got an alert you had written another chapter, but I'm hungry for more, more, more. I read through your latest chapter and wish there was a completed, hard copy book of "Dear Alice" in my hands so I could just continue reading, but I know you're creating as you go along. The waiting for new chapters is killing me! What will happen now? When will she tell Harry her secret? I'm going to explode. I can't wait! LOL. No worries.....you're just the writer who has to think up the story, outline it, and try to make it perfect for crazy people like me. Well, like I already said, I think your story is brilliant, and can't get enough of it. Might I stick my two cents in and suggest you keep your account on here, but as you've done, direct people to the other site (Watt pad) if you'll be doing all your writing on there going forward. IDK why you're still not getting more votes and comments on THIS site. Weird, right? Especially if over 1000 read it. Peculiar to say the least.

I find it difficult to find "Dear Alice" on Watt pad, because bunches of other stories come up. Still, you are the person writing, and if it's easier for you all the way around, it's best to use a website which can get your talented work out there to a larger audience. I wish you every success on Watt pad, Shannon, and hope people respond in an encouraging way. I signed up for that site too, and will definitely be following the stories you create. Thanks for telling me about Wattpad. I was actually on the website last night, as I was trying to read "Dear Alice" on there, but I didn't want to sign up for their site then, and it wouldn't allow me to read it until
I did, which is why I popped onto here. I fell in love with your story after reading the first chapter. Love, love, LOVE it!!! Now I will have to sign up for Wattpad so I can read "Hands Down". :D
You are very lucky to live in Australia because it is so beautiful there. I live in NYC. I must confess I am waaaay older then most of the 1D fans on this site, but would dare not own up to it. Let's just say you are far younger than me, so I wouldn't worry about having a 1D calendar in my work cubby. LOL.
I am "brand new" to this site, but in reading the Forums, many old-time members seem to think this site has lost a large majority of its more mature writers to much younger and less talented ones. Essentially, they're saying the site has a lot of dribble now and people have "moved on" to other sites (like Wattpad, etc.). IDK about any of that, as I've only read your story and am chomping at the bit for more. I may have come late to the party, but I look forward to more from you, Shannon. Cheers! Alice

I was getting a little paranoid because in three days I got almost 1000 reads, but no feedback... You start to wonder if you are wasting your time. So thank you, my smile right now is ear to ear.

Wow! This was SO great! Hopped onto this site last night, saw your story with my name and Harry Styles attached to it, and decided this had to be the very first fan fiction I'd read. LOL. Well, I couldn't stop reading it because it was so engrossing and interesting. A tad bit of comedy, drama, romance makes this a great read. The way you have imagined Harry's character and how he behaves, is pretty much the way I envision he'd be in real life. The interaction with his bandmates, his mom and stepdad, and of course, Alice, his one true love and soul mate, are wonderful (and sometimes comical). I especially like the way you've dealt with the romantic/sexual references, as I hate writers who are explicit. Harry is a tender, caring and thoughtful lover to an inexperienced Alice, and the way you described their first coupling was sweet; exactly how any woman would like their "first time" to be. I have read your last chapter and am wondering when and if you will be continuing it? I'm excited to see what happens next. I personally think you've written one helluva brilliant story and am very much looking forward to reading more. Can't wait!!! Just joined today, so am not too familiar with how things work, but I had to give you a shout out on "Dear Alice" because it was so fantastic! Have you written other stories and if so, where can I find them? Thanks much! ;)
