The content has the potential to become a great storyline but there are some grammatical errors and formatting things that need to be fixed. Most of your commas are outside of the quotation marks (e.g. "Hi Harry", I said.) when they should be inside (i,e: "Hi Harry," I said.) Also you should space out your dialogue so there's a slight gap:

"Hi Laurie," Rowan said.

"Hey."
