I know and I get it but at the same time life is not all dramatic and sad like this and it is a story nonetheless which means it should have a bit of fiction in it and an okay balance of good and bad. The beginning was devastating to see how Amelia was miserable on her own and Harry drinking his life away and then when they reunite briefly, Andrew is getting bullied and then gets abused by a teacher and right away Amelia is on her death bed or maybe not...whoever has a life like this would probably choose not live another minute

But, I really don't understand how it is unrealistic, I mean, Life isn't always happy. Life isn't always something sweet, it also has its sour moments. I am just trying to make my story the best it can be, for the theme behind it, because I know that if it was too happy, It would be too perfect, and nothing can be perfect in the real world. You know?
