And the reason I use whilst is because 1 it's gramatically correct and 2 I have OCD when it comes to grammar, I can't help it but I have to do things a certain way. But I'll try and do it how you suggested

And you use the phrase "sort out" or "getting them sorted". You could use like getting them ready or ready to go. or even getting them prepared. I'm sorry it just really annoys me. Dont take it as hate bcause I love your stories but.....just saying

Oh my god. I wish I was like you. I had a massive spider outside my window last night and made my dad get rid of it but it just went down the side of the window ledge and then came back so I made my dad get rid of it again and when he opened my window there was a spider under it and I screamed so much, I'm such a wimp!
