I completely agree. Sorry if I came off as aggressive, I didn't mean to be. I'm sure when people are more comfortable creating ideas in their heads they'll move away from the 'characters needed' thing, until then though...

I get where you're coming from, and I'm not trying to be rude. I just think that writers should be more creative than resorting in doing this.

I can't help but think this is a somewhat direct aim; so before shit hits the fan - I just wanted to point out and mention that the reason some people (I'm only assuming here; no one kill me) post these is because they like the involvement of other writers.

Most people do make up their own characters, their characters stories, backgrounds, lives, dramas, emotions, physical traits etc. I personally, had a few messages come through about people wanting to either co-write or be in a fanfic that I was writing. Being a semi-decent person some of the time, I figured 'You know... hell what, if they want that they can have it.' I write for my own self expression as well as for others to read.

If you're not happy with what people are posting it shouldn't be that hard to just scroll straight past it. I can see clearly that a few of these things have popped up in the last few hours and as stated, when I got my information I'd be taking it down. You've been a real help in the past with views, comments, honesty and reviews - but an attack (or what it feels like).. that's just rude.

heey ! Can you please tell me how you tag an object? Like some people say "I live in this house" and "house" is in purple writing, and you can click on it and it shows a picture! How do you do that?

I'm sure all of the stories on the popular page are great. I wasn't pointing fingers or trying to be rude about it. It's just annoying a'f to hear authors complaining about not getting on there. I said what I said so less people would be getting their hopes up about it and stop whining about it.

Actually the popular page is based off of views, subscribers and votes. Some stories are amazing but don't have any of those so they dont make it on the page. Also, My story says it has 0 views yet its on one of the popular pages, so even if the view count is broken the site still knows the views. Plus, if a story made it to the popular page then it deserves to be there. Lot's of people worked hard to get on there and I think it's kind of rude to discredit them from their hard work. Their story was good, that's why it's on the popular page. I know you may not have meant it like that but it seemed that way and I just wanted to let you know.

So true o the whole overused shit and stuff! All the stories are the same now! It's so hard for me to find a good story to read now! Like seriously people!!!
