how awesome does a gangster-squad style story sound. I've been dying to write once since the movie came out!
@KrystalWrightStylesMalik204
I don't really like my writing. I've started writing chapters and I just keep deleting them and rewriting them because I'm not sure.

This was one of the paragraphs I wrote for it; before deleting it again :(
He swept me off my feet in the heat of the moment, our heels tapping rhythmically like beating hearts on the dance floor as the band broke out into a jazz number. One of his hands quickly making it down to the small of my back, his other pulled me in so that the intimacy between us grew. His eyes of pure envy cut through my brown iris’ like a wildfire. Resting his forehead against mine, I knew this was a bad idea - gut instinct just kicking in like a bad habit when I least needed it.
“You here alone tonight?”, he whispered quietly, wanting to keep the attention away from us.
“I um.. no, I have some friends with me”, I replied, swallowing hard to avoid tripping over my own words.
“Well I hope they don’t mind if I keep you for the night.”
“The night?”, I asked a little breathless.
What on earth had I done agreeing to a dance with one of the most dangerous men in Las Vegas..

thanks doll! i'm just really nervous about it :(
and am a total moron.. you really like it?
I would be interested in co-authoring with you! I really love the idea for number two. Like a lot!

I have a few ideas I'd like to possibly co-author with someone else :) We'd be getting a whole solid storyline made up and formatted before we start writing just to make it easier on each other and stuff :)
My ideas were.
1. A Gangster Squad-esque story. (kinda like the movie minus Ryan Gosling though) It'd be set in the 30's or 40's and be based around a journalist and her best friend who accidentally get caught up in the illegal activities of the most sadistic yet successful mob in town. Fast cars, bad boys and lots of drama.
2. A festival story - a group of friends who want to share their last summer together decide to travel across country to festivals before they leave each other for their new lives and college. The story will include sex, drugs, rock'n'roll, alcohol, rape, fights, violence, backstabbing, language and adult themes.
3. A story based on bumping into the boys at a concert (not their own). This story will be filled with violence, drugs, anxieties, self harms and recoveries.
let me know if you're interested in any of them and if you have ideas to go along :) xxx
