Help me I need a boyfriend
@Iymani
Honey, you don't need a boyfriend. They aren't all it's cracked up to be all the time. Someone will come along when the time's right. No need to rush it :)
^^ agreed. No one needs a boyfriend. One you only get what you want only after you no longer need it. Two, theres no reason why someone should need a boyfriend. Boys seeing you as needy will only make them push you're boundaries, and doing things you may not be sane enough to choose. Personally, i don't ever want one. Pointless load of crap. LOL
@dontjockmystyles
You said this really well.
Unfortunately @Iymani there are a lot of horrible ungentlemen-ly type guys around which will just use women or manipulate them in such a way that they get what they want and the woman emotionally and physically gets left with nothing. Personally, I've had my fair share of negative experiences and I promise you, you'll just want to wait until everything falls into place the way the universe had planned for it to happen.
If you're feeling lonely, you should learn to love yourself - seriously, you're awesome, how the hell can you get lonely with someone as awesome as yourself around to keep you company. Friends, family, books, movies and day dreaming should kill at least a little but of the time you have left over (haha... oh I'm hilarious, no not really), but seriously! Enjoy life now while you don't have someone you're tied down to.
@pippalove
Awww thank you guys I love you allllll thank you
@dontjockmystyles
Thank you I love you you are amazing than you
surprisingly, i've yet to have one. But i've seen loads of horrible relationships, and i'd rather wait a few years than endure that bullcrap. You're very welcome! Trust me on this, along the lines a boy will come along that makes you happy, and less lonely. But never do you need a boy to endure those urges! Just go out with a few friends! Rent a movie, make sushi...do awesome stuff!
@dontjockmystyles
as you said before; you're not missing out on much. my one and only boyfriend who is freaking amazing was best friends with me for years before a spark happened. there are horrible people around who just (*&TFGUHJKDDFHGJKL!!
ps: i totally had sushi after i read this comment. ughh. why am i always hungry?
pps: sorry @Iymani for taking over your thread :(
i've been craving sushi for the longest time! I need to go and get some! but i agree with @pippalove . It's those moments that catch you off guard, that you'll find someone worthwhile! Don't stress it, and i must add i'm sorry too! I've become so opinionated recently!
Again; sorry for taking the thread over but @dontjockmystyles never apologise for being opinionated. Ever. It's going to be an amazing skill for you later in life.
I wouldn't stress over it. I wasn't allowed to date until I was 16. I am now 18, turning 19 in a few months and guess what. I haven't even had my first kiss yet! That's my life haha I understand where you are coming from and I know what it's like to want a boyfriend. I know it can be hard at times and you feel lonely. I know more than a lot of people, I have watched friend after friend get in and out of relationship after relationship and I can't seem to get guys to give me the time of day. Heck! There are a few girls who I graduated with a little less than a year ago who just got engaged! (a little young to be getting engaged if you ask me, but they are happy I guess and that's a whole other topic haha :)) But I try not to let it get to me. You just have to keep in mind that when the time is right, the right boy will come along and change all that. You can't try and rush thing because it will all happen when it is right :)
@Erin_Elizabeth_Direction
Nah. As much as a I love mine there are times I wish I could just get rid of him haha.
some people thrive being in a relationship, others do better as lone wolves
@pippalove
I had a boyfriend for two years and four months. But, I broke up with him. He cried-and yes, I felt terrible. But, hey, it was his fault-sometimes I wish I had a bf again, but, I am enjoying being single. I feel, well, free when I'm single. I can crush on guys. Dream of a boy asking me for a dance, or sending me a valentine. But, if a guy asked me out, I'd be very surprised. I'm a boy repellant. Not a boy magnet.
@Erin_Elizabeth_Direction
I'm the same way; a complete repellant. It must be the perfume I wear (hahaha.. no I'm not funny) I'm still surprised I'm even in a relationship.
I miss crushing; won't lie though, if a cute guy walks by, I do sneak a peek.
@Iymani
That should explain why you don't need one. Boys are, well, you should know. My ex tried to get me to kiss him, and I was only thirteen, and not ready. I just got over with a terrible uncle, which he knew a little about, but he pressured me anyways. But, I stood my ground and said no. He got mad at me, even though I did nothing wrong. He tried to act all depressed to get what he want. So, finally I was done with it, and dumped him. Even though we dated for two years and four months. But, I knew it wasn't meant to be. He didn't leave me alone, however, instead,, he tried to become bff's with my friends to get to me, and he hung out with me ALL THE TIME. But, he's terrified of them because he knows how protective they are over me-I'm like the Niall in the group, even though I'm the oldest, so my bff, @lvmytori, told him to stay away from me , and if he didn't, she'd bet him up. He's left me alone ever since. So, you don't need a guy. Instead, focus on who you are. I am and I'm discovering more about myself than I never even thought about!
i agree with majority of what erin wrote! Guys are very dominant by nature, and find joy in marking their territory. It's just what they do. BUT there are some who aren't all like that, so i can't point too many fingers. Any who, from my experience of guys (although i haven't been in a relationship) they will do anything to get what they want. Even if that means doing things they hate, or doing things you hate just for attention. If they can't get it one way, they'll try and lure you into another. I for one, have seen horrible relationship, and have been the victim of a broken one due to my parents, so my view on relationship, and love are quite negative, and ambiguous. With that said, i also do believe that everyone along the lines will find someone who will make them happy. For now, just have fun, because trust me...10-20 years from now you'll regret stressing over boys. Like erin said 'discover yourself first" before you attempt to discover who you want to be with.(:
Please help me One Direction is awesome BUT I feel lonely please help me find a boyfriend. Please and Thank you Help me get a boyfriend :)
