My Alerts are messed up...

Okay, so I logged into the site, and it said I have 5 alerts. I clicked on the alerts thing, but I only have two! So I checked the two, and it now says I have three, but I don't actually have any! Is anyone else having this same problem or know what to do?

Same with me but the opposites! I was bored so I checked my subscriptions and there were like 5 updated stories but I had never got any alerts :(

I have 4 false alerts I can't get rid of. No logging out, deleting anything etc will help :/ I think it's just a site problem again.

Same here (It also came out yesterday).

But I think I know why it is. I was reading the story Left with Lux. There was this big fight and confusion, and to make a long story short, the story was deleted and I think the user account was too. So the false alert was an "update" (the author's note explaining that she was going to delete the story) and I didn't read the alert before the story was taken down. So now when I try to look for the alert it just doesn't exist anymore. Is this confusing? I don't know, I was just thinking someone might be able to relate a similar experience.

Sometimes deleting all your history works, but it's a glitch. I had mine for about a year, and i sort of got used to it. Sometimes if you have this account linked to other fan sites (harrystylesfanfiction/niallhoranfanfiction) It can send sort of false alerts from that site instead of ours.

Me too! It's written 1 in a circle in the pink box and it irritates me because there's no alerts really. Can't we find a solution for this?
