I can't believe no one's commented on this.
I think I know which Harry book you're referring to. I tried to get it taken down but had no luck
I see this shit all the time in every fandom. Its disgusting but sadly apart of our culture now. Did you know that almost 43% of women will admit that they've had a "rape" fantasy?...Yeah, wrong. All we can do know is spread a message like this and pray it changes.
@morrison_hotel Ew. I wouldn't fantasise about that, I fantasise about chocolate and Harry Styles and sometimes together (Not in that way)
@Perfect_All_Night
I totally agree with you its so disgusting. I've seen it wayyyyy too much in stories. I hate how people think they can use rape as a plot point. My best friend growing up came to me a couple months ago because of it and she refused to report it because its so fucking normalized at this point that she didn't think anyone would believe her. It's just as bad and as normal as people using abuse and sex slavery as plot points its horrendous but we're supposed to treat it like 'it's just fiction'.
So I was on Wattpad and I was reading a Dark Harry fanfic where he raped the main girl in his fanfic. Not once, not twice, but about seven times in three chapters. I'm all for Dark Harry. But I like the ones where Harry's got a complex backstory. And he kidnaps the girl then tortures her with mind games
There is a difference between consentual sex and rape. If you're writing a Preference or Imagine book or maybe a Story and it's of the more... Mature Nature, and the girl in your story says NO but the guy still carries on - Then congratulations, you're normalising rape when it's not normal and you are what's wrong with the world
To add to this, I really honestly hope none of my followers write any rape scenes. It triggers those that have been molested themselves
