Movies?!
@XKALEIGHSTYLES57X
My first musical movie was Labyrinth. I ran through five VHS copies of it because I watched it so much XD David Bowie has always been one of my many standards for comparing men too. And that fucking eye make up he had >.> the person Jim Henson got to costume/make up Bowie is amazing.
As a huge Scooby Doo fan, I've always loved Scooby Doo on Zombie's Island. The Creole accents, Cajun cooking, bayou setting, and REAL monsters was amazing. And it's right before everyone in the gang became dipshits. It's easily one of the best GOOD Scooby pieces in my opinion :3
And being of Scottish descent, Braveheart always makes me bawl. The end where Mel Gibson screams "FREEDOM" and Shamus and Steven start crying just rips the feelings right out of me, like they wanted me to watch them crush my heart.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the 70s one) is also a favourite :3 I love horror/slasher movies and it's literally the only one to make me jump ever.
I'd also recommend Kung Fury, The Pianist, Armeggedon (Liv Tyler is the prettiest girl in the world as far as I'm concerned), a League of Their Own, Monty Python and the Holy Grail (or Monty Python's Meaning of Life), and The Road to Bali (Bob Hope and Bing Crosby together :O)
The Help and Lee Daniels is The Butler :,(
i literally cry and laugh during both of these every time and it's a problem.

OMG The Labyrinth was like my childhood movie, and I was so obsessed with David Bowie and I got so so upset when he died this year. But when I watch the movie now, I get obsessed with the song lyrics he sings and the way his bulge looks in those spandex pants. Haha oops. I've always loved Braveheart.
@taylorfromthefanfic
I love The Help, it's so sad and I cry every time I watch it. But I've never seen The Butler, but I've always wanted to.

OmiGod the day after his death my boyfriend came over and showed me Bowie's video for Lazarus saying "he KNEW he was dying and this was his good bye." Then he looks at me and says "are you crying?" Well yeah the dude was my fucking childhood. Like I know as a ginger, he has no soup but can't he have a heart?
Lulz actually he was pretty supportive :P he's not a Bowie fan but he recognises the man's talent and the fact my mom and I were upset. THEN FUCKING SNAPE DIES AMD IM LIKE "THE UNIVERSE IS KILLING ALL THE ENGLISH MEN I HOLD NEAR AND DEAR TO MY HEART. LEMMY BOWIE AND SNAPE."

I was so sad when he died. And even though I practically live on the Internet, I didn't find out until two weeks after his death. Nobody bothered to tell me and I cried so hard. I cried yesterday about it too because there was a commercial with him in it and he just looked so happy. It hurts, but he lived a good life I suppose.

I LOVE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA!!! I watched that movie non stop when I was 13 even though I was young, I understood it. It's so emotional and makes me feel bad for the phantom everytime he sings his part in 'All I Ask of You'. I'm not a musical fan but I absolutely love this movie.
I always wanted Emmy's voice, the way she hit those high notes were amazing. She made Ariana Grande look like a weakling lol
@sugarcube.
I still watch it nonstop! Every song in that movie makes me emotional, and I feel so upset for the Phantom in almost all of them because he can't have Christine.
Yes! I've always wanted her voice too! Yes she did haha.

The only musical I like is The Wizard of Oz. I've always found it strange that I can't enjoy the others. As for movies in general though - I'm a horror and thriller fan through and through. Oh and anything Tarantino. He came to my home town a few weeks ago and I got to meet him and he's just as amazing as I thought he could be :)
@XKALEIGHSTYLES57X
I couldn't hate anyone!
Mr Tarantino is a film maker, producer, writer, all round awesome amazeballs person who made Kill Bill, Death Proof, Reservoir Dogs, Inglorious Bastards, The Hateful eight etc.
@XKALEIGHSTYLES57X
:) I AM SERIOUS! hahaha... Kill Bill has to be one of my favorite films of all time.
@XKALEIGHSTYLES57X
it is - it's so raw and well written and i love the use of the actors within it. like their little hints to heritage and how they use actors who are bi-lingual and not just learning and script for the sake of it.
sorry about the late response btw.
Les Miserables(2012)
I cried and I cried with this movie. It's definitely one of my favorites. The way Anne Hathaway portrays Fantine, just wow and I love Eddie Redmayne as Marius or Samantha Barks as Eponine, amazing!
Beauty and the Beast
What's not to like about this classic Disney movie. The first time I saw this movie, I was obsessed and I still am. If I have a bad day, I always hide on the couch with a cup of tea and watch this movie. I can sing this movie from start to end, without missing a word.
Need for Speed
I don't exactly know why I love this movie so much, but I just get a thrill when watching this. The cars, the speed and just the pace of this movie.

Okay, first things first, I fucking love The Phantom of the Opera. That movie will make me cry no matter how many times I watch it and for some reason, it never gets old to me. Emmy Rossum is an amazing actress and she can sing like an angel, and let's not forget the amazing fucking job Gerard Butler did!! I could watch that movie on repeat over and over and it probably will never get tired to me. It's one of my favorites and it will probably stay that way.
Secondly, I LOVE The Great Gatsby. I cannot tell you how much I balled over that movie. That movie is the best one I've seen with Leonardo Dicaprio (despite the fact that he did a great job in Titanic but I never really liked that movie because it seems a little cliché to me), and he did SO well. That movie drew me in from the very beginning, and I usually say that books are always better than the movies, but I've read the book and the movie is so much more diverse and intriguing than the book. I have a crazy obsession with this movie. I don't know why but it's just so mesmerizing to me.
Thirdly, Moulin Rouge. It's another musical, but this movie blew my mind. It's so sensual and romantic and the songs are just so sweet. It's the best damn movie I have seen with Nicole Kidman in it, and let's all agree how amazing Ewan McGregor is?! He was my first actor crush and despite the fact that he is like fifty now, he is still fucking beautiful. His voice penetrated me and this was the first musical movie I ever fell in love with. I love this movie with a burning passion.
Anyone else feel deeply for certain movies that they can't even stand it?
