Midnight Chat

Is anyone up for a midnight chat? I'm unable to sleep, and the only company I have are my story subscriptions and music.

I promise I'm really friendly, perhaps slightly annoying at times, but friendly nonetheless :)

Lol here is fine then. It's a messenger app. I accidentally deleted a file I was working on for my story and I don't how to get it back :/ it's somewhere in my trash on Google dr

Google Drive?
I'm not too familiar with the program but I do hope you get your file back asap! Losing something you've been working on is freaking horrible. I try and save all my stuff to google docs but some days I get keyboard happy and wipe everything :/

Google Drive and Google Docs are almost the same. That was literally me except my finger slipped and instead of moving the file into a folder, I moved it to the trash. It's so hard to keep up with my updating schedule without my co author to be honest.

That is so sweet of you to say. It's actually for Ink. I haven't updated that story in close to a month and it's been on my to do list. The update was quite difficult for me to write, but I somehow managed and now it's gone :/

Another great story! I'm really sorry to hear about the update.
Can you go back on your computer to a previous setting? I don't know how it works but mine has a time machine app (that sounds so space cadet/sci-fi) and i can retrieve the last hour or so of things I'd done/edited/deleted.

That time machine app sounded so cool. I need one of those. Google told me I have to retrieve it from a desktop which is doable so I'll do it in the morning. My mother and I are on one of our late night walks so excuse my slow response time too. Are you deciding between two characters for a new story?

no for a current story.
i wrote it out one way with one character in mind but then someone pointed out something about their relationship with another character so now i'm tossing up the chance to re-write everything with a different view in mind.

and it's totally cool. enjoy the walk with your mother :)

I'm enjoying it a lot. It's quite hot though but that's probably cause it just rained. I really like your writing style; you put in just the right amount of detail-- something I struggle with sometimes. I enjoy reading anything you write :)

My mother and I walked two miles and she is treating herself to an apple pie while I'm munching on chocolate chip cookies. I love being inside to watch the rain. It's very calming. So what are you doing at this hour?

ha, i'm assuming i'm on the other side of the world to you. this hour for me is 3.30 in the afternoon and I'm enjoying my only day off this week by lounging around being warmed by the sun.

It was really hot too. The chocolate chips were melted. Yeah I guess you are about 14 hours ahead of me then. I live in one of the busiest cities in the world perhaps. It's known as the city that never sleeps and it's where everyone wants to be on New Years Eve :) can you guess my city? I didn't mean for it to be a riddle at first, but it minus well be one.

You are so correct! Life in the big apple is always interesting at night time. But I'd love to get out of here since I've lived in the city all my life. Have you ever been?

I have! When I was younger. My parents are the kind very much into making sure my sister and I are well rounded or at least, were brought up well rounded (which my sister always jokes about as being fat *drum roll for a bad joke*)

I could only begin to start wondering what kind of things you'd experience and see over a long course of living in a city that comes across as so vibrant during the day.
