From what you've written, I quite like it. The over description towards the end seems a little unnecessary yet if that's what you're going for and are comfortable with then stick with it :) I just feel as if I know where the story is going and in my head, I've created a scene and with the extra you've added it's almost as if it's ruining the picture I created myself. If that makes any sense at all?
