What Happened to Everyone!
I'm pretty sure like half the people that were on this site just went to the 5SOS site and doesn't come on here anymore. i hate it too. It makes me sad. :(
I know right there were so many amazing authors that I came into contact with when I first started on this site (a couple of months ago) and now I don't think any of them are still writing
And yeah there are so many stories that are amazing and go unnoticed because there is an actual story there instead of a string of swear words and smut
I know I haven't posted much in a while and yeah it is kinda because of low ratings or nobody reading. (I'm working on something but Idk if its any good perfectionist syndrome)
I mean you can give some of it to end of school stress but it's sad that there is rarely anyone on here anymore :(
I'll admit that i was stalking/reading this site before I joined and became a user - i'm more of a tumblr/twitter fantatic; but just through reading I can see a whole lot of people dropped off the face of the earth. It's really sad, because compared to some of the awesome stories they were writing or giving us teases of now there's like nothing!!!

I just feel like no one is willing to venture out and read these new stories. Even if they aren't good, you can help guide the writer, and help his or her's writing. I find it unfair that authors just get up and leave!

Well, i'm happy you made an account! I just feel everyone's so distant, and the old writers are just eh. It's like a room full of cocky writers, not one of them willing to read other great works!

thats just plain sad then. I figured everyone would want to read each others works for the plain and simple fact that its how you'd improve as a writer. i do sorta get what you mean about cocky though. i'm too afraid to post my stories on the fact other people will judge them harshly.

Well, I used to be like that too! But in all honesty, I only learned from their criticism, and it helped me sculpt my writing. Even some of the worst writers improve drastically after a few hints. I recommend you post your stories! I would be willing to read them! Just message me when you do! We are always welcoming new authors!
I don't have a probkem with 5SOS I mean luke hemmings is gorgeous and I love she's so perfect but the problem is that theyre taking fans

BIG LETTERS WOAAH! TBH i love 5sos, literally. Their music, and them ahhh.. But you can conjoin your stories on 5s0s too! I'm going to make an account, but i'm not deleting this one ! OBV. EVERYONE MUST COME BACK!

Hmm...well what's your plot? Not all the time, post at the right times, and ask for feedback! Get reviews, ask fellow users ' muaaaahh ' to read it! I'm sure you writing is fine!

yea i understand! I love 5sos too, but that would never change my views on 1D. Plus hey, we have forums, and the other sites don't!
I completely agree with this. I'm pretty sure everybody just got too busy to be writing and commenting and chatting and all that jazz. I, personally, go through the new stories page at least once a week to see what's new, and some of the best stories have half the recognition they deserve because no one takes the time to read anything but the stories they've already hit subscribe to.
By summer, I'm hoping that things will go back to when things were all lively like you're saying. Life - mostly school - just got in the way with a lot of us and there just isn't enough time to be on at the moment. They haven't given up; they just haven't had the time.
Yeah, I miss the old site with everyone talking and laughing.
TheRandomUnicron is right a lot of us become more active during the summer because we have time to update and can stay up as late as we want. There will be a lot more members back on.
This site was so vivacious, and lively. Now everyone's like quitting, and or getting tired of writing! COME ON WHERE ARE THE GOOD STORIES! THE AWESOME AUTHORS!
PLUS Half of yous don't even bother to read some stories, and there are truly good authors that I have become acquainted with that none of you even notice.
I just think that we should all reunite again, everyone's fricking giving up, and I HATE IT!
