It probably will play in select theaters, so maybe 1 or 2 of the theaters in the nearest city. That's what a lot of indie films do. I live in Fort Worth, so out of all the theaters, it might play in a few. So it will play in theaters, but select ones. It'll be a special event screening.
Not on the bandwagon; but I can't begin to imagine how creeped out the boys must feel about this kind of 'art' being produced. Seems a little off.. and creepy as hell..

We were talking about that. I mean, if I see it, I'll just keep seeing Harry's face popping into my mind. Like, everyone knows it's a Harry fanfic, so what's the use of changing the names? Aboslutly nothing.
well in general i think artists/celebs feel a little awkward about fan fictions! Imagine one being produced

No, totally get what you mean! I just don't think the author gets that. Sure it's a big deal! You've come so far, but all this will do is just shine bad limelight on you. Out of the 600 mil that read her story all together, not even 10% would go up and find a independent movie house, and watch it! I just think it's quite ridiculous

agreed completely! i think the percentage could even be less :( oh well - good luck to the write and with anything that happens i guess.

I also feel like this movie's not gonna get a lot of spotlight, because of 1; how awkward it's gonna be, and 2; the shortage of indie film houses. I looked up the indie film houses near me, and the closest one is 45 minutes away, in eastern Dallas. I mean, I'm sure as hell not driving tfor 45 mintues just to go see a movie. I have plenty of better things to do.
I think that's also gonna make the veiwing percentage go down: the shortage of indie film houses.

45 minutes?!? count yourself lucky. where I'm from there's like one per major city if lucky.
there's only about 5 in NYC and we're a city imagine other states? I think after she posts a few chapters of Harry's POV it'll be the end. Movies take a year or so. Not many girls will be as interested. I just think her fan fiction, plus watt pad has gone to her head! You write fan fiction because you love the celeb or artist. If she loved writing this would influence her to write her very own story, and try and get it published.

I agree with when you say about the story getting to her head. I mean, I totally get authors who want to get discovered on wattpad. When they write ORIGINAL stories, with like, all made up characters. But, FANFICTION, on the other hand, should be made solely for entertainment. She shouldn't have agreed to make it a movie. I think she's gotten a little over her head, also. I mean, she has 2 kids, right? Think how humiliating it will be for them. I mean, this is like being the child of the person who wrote 50 shades. I think I would personally decide to move out before it gets too famous, if I was in those kids shoes.
