maddie's pov
i was bawling by the time i reached nicole. she hugged me and soon her bare shoulder was covered in tears and mascara. "let's fix you up." she said leading me towards the boys dressing room. "how could you not have told me?"i asked as she was re applying my make up. "i was told not to." she said smirking. "i hate you!" i said sticking out my tong. "love you too." she said pecking my cheek as the boys ran in to change. niall got changed kissed me and ran out. harry didnt do anything with nicole and her face fell. once they left i walked over to her and rubbed her arm. "he's just in the zone." she said trying to convince herself.
nicole's pov
maddie was still rubbing my arm. "he confuses me sometimes." i said. "it's fine." maddie said. "oh i know. he just gets really focused. d-do you think maybe you could drive me home and come back? there's no traffic and we live close..." i kept rambling on for so long i didn't realize we were in the parking lot. "girl just hushhh." maddie said laughing. "thankie babe." i said "no problem boo." she said and i smiled. when i got inside. i went to my bedroom and shut the door. i called justin for the first time in a while and he picked up on the first ring.
"hey." he said sounding tired.
"oh, did i wake you up?" i asked.
"yeah. but i haven't talked to you in a while. what's up?" he asked.
"well..." i said pausing. "i-i think its happening again."
"i'll be over in a few." he said hanging up.
justin's pov
when nicole called me and told me she was depressed again i got scared and i was at her house within minuets. "are you ok?" i asked hugging her. "i haven't done anything." she said sitting on the couch. "ok. then tell me what happened." i said sitting next to her. "its alot of things really. i thought Harry was cheating on me, but he's not. Me and you broke up and i miss seein you. when i go to their concerts there are so many girls that are much prettier than me, thinner than me, and their better for harry or really anyone." she said holding on to me. " you are the prettiest girl in the world! harry loves you and if he doesn't he WILL NOT live to see another day. do you understand? you are beautiful and pretty and gorgeous." i said hugging her again. "but-" she started. "no. no buts ok? you're perfect." "ok." she sighed knowing i wouldn't let her think another way. "do you want me to stay?" i asked and she nodded. just then i got a text.

just got back from vacaaaaayyyyy! date night??

i texted back yes. "sorry nicole i have to go but i promise we can hang soon." i said and she nodded.
i let myself out and made a promise to myself that she can't know i'm dating jess. it'd only make things worse for nicole.
nicole's pov
after justin left i turned on the tv and watched doctor who re-runs. about half an hour into it there was a knock on the door. i got up to answer it and was met with the face of Jay david castle. "what do you want?" i spat as he pushed past me. "maddie." he said turning to look at me. he had a crazed look in his eyes. "get out you bastard!" i yelled at him. "where is she?" he screamed at me pulling out a knife. "she's at a concert with her FIANCÉ!!" i put an enfaces on the word fiancé. "HER WHAT?" he yelled charging at me with his knife. i dodged out of the way but he caught my wrist. he watched me wither in pain as he slowly cut across my wrist. he let go of my arm and walked out the door slamming it behind him. i ran to the bathroom and got a towel. i put it on my wrist as i called 911. within minuets there was an ambulance and that was the last thing i remembered.
