Chapter 31
The next few days were hectic. I was dissmissed on the second day, but refused to leave. I promised myself that I would stay with Jess until she wakes up, and she will. The doctors have been back and forth trying to help her, but she was still in a coma. They never told me about any improvement, but she wasn't going downhill either. I remembered the first day I met her.
Flashback
The boys and I had to attend a 3 day horse riding competion, by simons orders. We weren't happy about it, but we went. Lou, Zayn, and Liam brought their girlfriends to come watch.
"And next to compete in the show jumping competition, please give it up for Jessica Brookes!" Everyone was clapping for her, and I was about to die of boredom. She sat up on her horse tall and proud, and rode over to the judges. She took a little bow and began. She was jumping over the jumps like she was flying. She had the biggest smile on her face, and was just enjoying the ride. She came to the final jump, but she asked the horse to jump too late. The horse refused and she fell, hitting the ground. I was in complete shock, and my heart told me to go run and see if she was okay.
"Oh my goodness!? Are you okay!?" I offered a hand up, and she took it. She was laughing her head off, and brushing herself off.
"I am great! Over the moon actually!" She gave the biggest smile I have ever seen. She was plain georgeous.
She took the reins of her horse and gave it a pat.
"This is Ash, and I'm Jessica." She offered her hand to shake, and I returned the shake.
"I'm Harry." I smiled at her, something here just seemed.. right.
"Nice to meet you Harry! And, thanks for seeing if I was okay." She gave me the prettiest smile imaginable.
"No problem!"
She paused for a moment, and smiled. "Maybe we can go to dinner or something?" She asked.
I nodded, and exchanged phone numbers with her. I knew that instant that she was the one.
Flashback ended.
And then I was back to reality. I was sitting next to her, holding her hand. I could tell that she was holding on. I loved her with all of my heart, I can't lose her now.
