Wednesday:
Mya’s POV:

*BEEP BEEP BEEP*

I groaned as my alarm clock sounded, waking me up from my peaceful sleep. I had fallen asleep before Harry came home last night, though I could here the thumps of his feet walking up to his room.

I peeled the doona away from my body and hoped out of bed, seeing it was an alright type of day. I pulled my ugg boots on (that matched my top and pj pants) and headed down the stairs, to my ‘shock’ Mum, was once again, already at work.

‘Morning Mya and Harry,

I have left pancakes in the fridge I made early this morning for you to eat
and I will see you this afternoon cause I can leave work early today :)

Well that REALLY surprised me.

I went into the cupboard and grabbed a can of cat food for Ginger, and empty the contents of it into her food bowl. To her delight it was her favourite flavour. I opened the fridge and found the pancakes on a plate wrapped in clean wrap. Took the wrap off and placed the plate of pancakes in the microwave for about a minute. As I waited for the pancakes to be hot I realised something...the dickhead wasn't up yet.

I walked back up the stairs and up to Harrys door, “Styles get up!” I knocked on the door.

A waited for a reply...nothing...“Harry, seriously, get the fuck up!” I knocked again and again and again.

“That’s it!” I said to myself as I opened the door the find him still asleep in bed.

To be honest, he looked adorable when he was asleep...his hair all messy, the slight pout on his lips...and then I look to the floor and see all his crap lying everywhere...yep thats Styles alright.

I decided to head over towards the bed, leaned over and tapped on his shoulder, “Harrrrry! Wake uppppp!”

...nothing.

“This is ridiculous!” I huffed as I sat on the edge of the bed.

All of a sudden I feel arms wrap around my waist, pulling me towards Harry.

I squealed, “Harry!” as he hugged my body.

“Morning babe!” He said in his voice raspy, his eyes adjusting to the sunlight.

“I would appreciate it if you would let go of me.” I told him in a serious tone.

“Oh come on! I know your enjoying it!” He smirked.

“Believe it or not, I’m not and I need to get ready for school-” I told him, trying to wiggle out of his hold.

“It’s just a friendly morning hug love!” He laughed, he knew that this was pissing me off.

“Please.” I asked a bit more softer and nicer.

He facial expressions softened and with a sigh, he let go.

“Thank you.” I smiled as I got off the bed, walked towards to door when I could feel eye’s burning the back of my head, “Yes?!” I turned around to find Harry starring at me.

“Nothing.” He shrugged and smirked, his eye averting to my bum for a split second.

“Jackass.” I said as loudly I closed the door.

I again walked back downstairs and checked the pancakes.

“Done.” I smiled, placing two on a plate with strawberries, blueberries and some butter.

As I was eating them, Ginger hoped on the counter top and sat down facing me. Normally I would tell her to get off but she was keeping me company.

*DING DONG*

That’s strange...Coraline isn't suppose to come for another twenty minutes. I was about to get up when Harry came down the stairs, running like a flipping maniac towards the door.

I frowned my eyebrows in confusion until I heard faint talking that sounded like Liam.

“Hey Mya!” Liam smiled, dressed in the school uniform with his school bag on one of his shoulders.

“Hey Li.” I returned the smile. “Harry you forgot to inform me that Liam was coming over this morning.” I tried to sound as nicely as I could towards him.

“Oh yeah...didn’t I tell you...?” He scratched the back of his neck.

“No!” I replied stating the obvious.

“Well he is here now.” Harry shrugged.

“I guess so,” I agreed (for once), “But Coraline coming soon so watch out!”

I could see the slight glint of happiness and excitement on Liam’s face as I said Coraline‘s name.

“I’m gonna get dressed,” Harry told Liam, “I’ll be down again soon.”

“I gotta get dressed too, ummm-” I looked around, “Here,” I gave him a mug with a tea bag in it, “Feel free to pour yourself a cup of tea.” I smiled.

Liam laughed, “Thanks babe.”

WALKING TO SCHOOL

“We gotta wait here.” I told Liam and Harry.

We were at the corner of Coraline and mines street. I always wait here for to bring me my lovely coffee before school.

“Who are we waiting for-” Liam started to ask when his attention diverted to Coraline, a smile placed on his face.

“Hey hun!” Coraline half hugged me, having four coffees in a tray, “Hello british people one and two.” She was talking to Harry and Liam.

“Did you get a coffee for me Cory?” Harry smiled surprised.

“One ew don’t call me that and two yes...only cause Mya was saying you kept bugging her.” She answered passing a coffee to Harry, “And even you Payne.” She added, passing a coffee to Liam.

“Thats nice of you Wellington.” Liam smiled.

Coraline turns to me and says, “Now that these two are have their coffees, not that they deserve them, can we go?”

“Agreed.” I said as we walked towards Galen Road. The boys trailed behind us the whole way there, before we entered Coraline turned around to face them and yelled, “ON-DA-LAY!!!”

“What?!” They screamed back confused. It was going to be a long day...

LUNCH TIME

“So tell us what happened!!!” Roxanne asked Millie.

We were once again at our usual lunch spot, the picnic table under the oak tree.

“Tell you guys what?” Millie smirked, obviously knowing the answer.

“Yes, enlighten us.” I added, slightly annoyed.

“Nothing happened...” Millie smiled.

“Sure sure!” Nadine smiled as she bit into her apple.

“We just had some food and talked for a bit...he was really nice.” Millie smiled and sighed.

“In what universe?!” I added.

“You know, if you really got to know him, he is really down to Earth.” Millie fired back, only in a friendly way of course.

“I’ve known him for about a week now and I beg to differ...” I replied, grabbing my vitamin water.

“Don’t judge to quickly Mya...” Anna added.

“Whatever-” I replied looking down at my work books.

“Hey guys!” Coraline chimed in.

“Thank god your here-” I half yelled.

“Why whats wrong?” Coraline ponded, placing her bag on the table.

“They’re ganging up on me.” I frowned.

“We are not!” Alana and Nadine defended.

“Guys, as Roxanne once said...STOP BEING BITCHES!!” Coraline defended me.

“We were just stating our opinion.” Heather huffed.

“Well I’m going to my locker...Coraline?” I asked her, wanting to leave the tension. Can’t believe everyone was taking Harry’s side.

“But I just got here!” She huffed, but I gave her the look as if I was saying ‘shut up and lets go!’- “Sure my love.” Coraline agreed with a sigh.

We had started walking to my locker, me ranting to Coraline about what Millie and the others had said. Coraline, being a great best friend, nodded and listened (I hoped) to what I was saying.

After I had finished, I ended it with a ‘argh’ and leaned against my locker, “It’s like only you and me see it you know?”

“I don’t know what happened! It’s like they have corrupted them!” Coraline threw her hands in the air.

Oh no, “Shit-” I cursed, looking down and back to my locker.

“What?!” Coraline asked worried.

“They’re heading towards us.” I nudged my head in their direction.

Coraline and I turned around to find ourselves face to face with Melissa, Clarissa and Angie.

“Sup bitches!” Coraline fake smiled.

“Look what the cat dragged in!” Angie smiled backed.

“I’m gathering you heard about Zayn and I.” Melissa smiled.

“No.I.Didn’t” I replied sarcastically.

“Everyone in the school is talking about how ‘you broke up with him’...and in order to do that, my stupid and naive friend, is to ACTUALLY BE WITH HIM FOR MORE THAN A COUPLE OF HOURS.” Coraline told Melissa.

Melissa was hurt by this comment, “She was too good for him!” Clarissa reassured Melissa.

Um, excuse me?!

“And now-” Melissa shoved Clarissa to the side, “I have my heart set on someone else...James perhaps?”

Oh no. She she didn’t just say James.

“Excuse me?!?!” Coraline fumed.

“Last time I check, its a free country and I can date who I want and when I want.” Melissa fired back.

“Um not when its my flipping brother!!!” Coraline added.

“I can do as I please!” Angie added with a smirk.

“Why would my brother go out with a bitch like you? I have a right to know who is good for him and who isn’t.” Coraline defended herself and her brother.

“Really? Cause I remembered it from primary school, your brother couldn’t defend you even if his life had depended on it...actually he couldn’t have cared less.” Angie continued, laughing to what she was saying.

“I-” Coraline replied, her face softening. This was a touchy subject for her.

“Poor Coraline,” Angie faked frowned, “I wished those bullies knocked more sense into you.”

“SHUT THE F-” I started when Coraline shut me up.

“Remember when you sat by yourself at lunch cause everyone thought you were a freak? Remember getting kicked in the stomach the girls bathroom because you were worthless? Got spat on because you were nothing?” Angie continued.

You could see Coraline was at her breaking point, “Come on, lets go, their not worth it.” I rubbed her back and we both turned around and started walking.

We were nearly at the end of the hall when she went too far, “Remember how you were so depressed you nearly-” Angie smirked.

That was it. Coraline ran back to Angie, tackled her to the ground and starting a full on ‘cat fight’.

“Holy shit-” I whispered to myself. I didn’t know what to do, I have never seen her this upset and angry before.

“Mya? CORALINE?” I heard Liam asked shocked from behind me.

Liam’s POV:
“What up lads?” I smiled, as Zayn, Harry, Louis and Niall were sitting on the wooden picnic table, near the school garden.

“Zayn and Harry were just telling us about their date last night.” Louis smirked.

“How did it go?” I smiled, taking a seat next to Niall.

“Well Zayn left half way through and Millie and I both admit we like other people, so yea...swimmingly...great night.” Harry laughed.

“Oh, I’m sorry mate.” I patted Zayn’s back.

“It’s all good, I’ve got my eye on someone else anyways...” Zayn smirked.

“Ooooh! Mate tell us!!!” Niall smiled.

“Let’s change the subject.” Zayn diverted the question.

“Hey, Haz, need to go to my locker, come with?” I asked.

“Sure Li.” He nodded.

We strolled to the third hallway, talking about having a movie night next week when I could hear something.

I stopped Harry, “Can you hear that?”

“Hear what?” He frowned.

“It’s coming from the second hallway...” I listened, running over to the next hallway finding a scared Mya and a upset and angry Coraline fighting Angie.
“Mya? CORALINE?” I asked, “What’s going on?!”

Mya turned around worried, “I don’t know what to do, she just-” She didn’t get to finish when I was already running up to the fight, trying to pull Coraline away.

Nasty words were getting thrown, along with hits, “CORALINE!” I yelled as I was holding her back from the fight.

“LET ME GO!” She yelled, gritted teeth, her face being red with anger.

“Come on babe shes not worth it!” I told her.

Angie unsteadily got up, her hair a mess, scratches on her face and arms, “What the hell?!” She yelled at Coraline, “You crazy bitch!”

“Fuck off.” I told her bluntly.

Her face was shocked, though she picked up her bag, quickly fixed her hair and walked off with the help of Clarissa and Melissa.

Once they had left, Coraline calmed down for a bit, she turned and faced me.

A single tear fell from her eye’s onto her red cheek. She was upset, I didn’t know why but seeing her cry was the worst thing to watch.

I look into her eyes, her normal gorgeous chocolate eyes were more of a darker brown shade, “What happened?” I asked sincerely, pulling her into a hug, my chin resting on the top of her head.

She didn’t answer, she didn’t say anything at all, she just hugged me back and let all her emotions pour out.

“Shhhh,” I soothed her as she cried, “Everything’s going to be fine.”

Mya and Harry approached us, being very cautious, “I think I might walk it off with Mya, you can handle Coraline.” Harry broke the silence.

“Yeah, I’ll be fine.” I told them, still hugging Coraline.

“But-” Mya objected.

“Trust me, he knows from experience.” Harry whispered to Mya, she replying with a ‘oh’ and nod.

We saw them walk off and out of sight. I look at Coraline, she was finally calming down. I wiped a tear with my thumb, “Now do you wanna tell me what happened?” I asked.

“Well-” Coraline sighed, her voice still a be shaky.

HALF AN HOUR LATER:

“And that’s how all this shit happened.” Coraline laughed slightly.

I rubbed her shoulder, “I know how you feel.”

“Did you get bullied too when you were younger?” Coraline sniffed.

“Yea...It was horrible...” I sighed.

“How did you cope? Cause obviously I’m not.” Coraline added.

“I learnt to push that memory away and try not to think about it too much,” I started to fiddle with my hands, “Then I took up boxing to defend myself.”

“I had done a bit of karate when I was younger but none of the serious type...” She said as she pulled some long grass out of the ground, fiddling with it, “I remember this one time, where I had this friend, she was my only best friend... but she was manipulated by other people and she turned into one of them.” She said, slightly squinting, the sun shining in her direction.

“If it makes you feel better, I remember for my birthday I invited everyone in my class...but no one came...” I told her.

She gave a sympathetic look, “Looks like we both used to be in the shits.”

I nodded, laughing slightly, “You could say that again.”

We had just spent the rest of lunch and a bit of our ‘study period’ (free period) to have a bit of a dm. We had just be lazying around near the school back gates, there was a little seating area where Coraline thought we could talk.

“Look,” Coraline broke the silence, “I appreciate for what you did..., I reckon I would have killed her if you didn’t stop me-” She laughed lightly.

“No problem babe, don’t want to see my Coraline getting hurt.” I smiled sweetly.

“I’m not finished talking,” She ignored my last comment, “Look, I have never really been this open and vulnerable to someone before...it’s hard for me to...” She seemed so nervous.

“Look I understand love-” I went to touch her hand.

“Liam!” She sighed, “Please let me finish!” Coraline was getting a bit annoyed.

“Sorry.” I decided to shut up.

“I would kinda like this to stay between us, you know?” She asked, “It’s kinda a sensitive topic.”

I just starred at her, not knowing if she was finished or not.

“I’m done.” Coraline laughed.

“Oh.” I laughed, awkwardly scratching the back of my head, “Yeah sure.”

“Thanks.” She smiled, giving me one last hug, “I better go see how Mya is.” She said as she grabbed her bag and stood up.

“Does this mean you don’t hate me anymore?” I smirked.

“Well I don’t know about that...” She smirked back, thinking about it, “I guess I can tolerate you now.” She decided.


“That’s better than nothing.” I smiled as she walked away.
