(Kayla's POV)
We both jogged down the hallway, only to run into Jessica and her group. They all turned towards us in curiosity.
"Damn Kayla, how'd you get this guy to get seen with you, did you pay him?" she said, giving a smile to Louis as she moved toward him.
"Jessica stop, we have to get to english. You know that language that you can barely speak?" I said with hate in my eyes.
My body raged with anger as she pulled a slip of paper out of her pocket and handed it to him.
"My number, call me somtime." Jessica said flirtatiously.
I could tell that Louis was'nt interested. His eyes didn't sparkle like they did when we made eye connection.
"Sorry, I'm not interested" Louis responded as he grabbed my shoulder and lead me up the stairwell.
A smile appeared across my face as I felt butterflies flutter in my stomach. He felt my body losen up as we continued up the stairwell with his arm still around me.
"I dont call snobs like that Jessica girl. I call the pretty girls like you" He said with confidence beaming out of him. I felt my face turn a light shade of red as my heart pounded in my chest as he removed his arm from my shoulder and we turned into the english classroom.
"Where have you been Kayla and who is your friend?" The english teacher quickly asked as we took two open seats in the back of the class.
"We're sorry Mr. Brown but we got stuck at our lockers" I said innocently.
He quickly gave me the 'teacher look' as if I was lying, which I was.
"Oh! Sorry, this is Louis. It's his first day, he's a new student here." I said confindently.
Mr. Brown quickly checked off his attendance paper on his desk and continued with the class.
(Louis's POV)
The day dragged on until the final bell rang. Like I promised, I met Kayla outside the school with my books in hand. She quickly strutted out of the front doors with her hair flowing behind her.
"Ready for some coffee?" She said with a smile across her flawless
"I've been ready." I relpied flirtatiously.
