“Keegan, damn it, how many times have I said to leave my computer alone” I shout throwing his door open

“I can’t find mine and I needed to get this paper done for coach before Monday” he complains

“Try cleaning your room and you’d be able to find your shit” I snicker at him

I take my computer off of his desk and go back to my room. We have two months before school is out for the summer, then it’s Australia bound for all of us.

The school I go to in Northern Lake Tahoe is small; so Brycen, Brynlee, Niall, Keegan, and myself usually have the same classes which is why we are all going on this trip. I just hope Bryce and Keegan don’t ruin it for Bryn and I. They can be such jackasses sometimes.

Brycen and Keegan are seniors this year. Keegan is head of the soccer and rugby team and he’s the lead vocalist in our choir too. I have to admit both Keegan and Niall have killer voices.

This summer we get to study abroad for the summer months. We are going to Australia and I can’t wait. I’m most excited to swim with dolphins and snorkel and see the outback.

I’m most excited I get to do it all with my best friend Bryn She is the best her brother who is also going on the trip, is so dreamy with his dark brown hair and his brown eyes, and the way he bites his bottom lip when he’s frustrated; don't even get me started. Bryn and I have been best friends since pre school and when we were 10 we decided that our siblings were off limits to date, but who says I can't fantasize right?

“Ello all my name is Michael from 5 seconds of summer. Are you excited? cus I am! Our new single is coming out in only 5 more days’ mates so keep an eye on our channel to be the first to hear it” I say to the phone’s camera

“Oi Mikey why can’t we just surprise them with it.. like don’t even tell them and just drop it?” Ashton asks

“I guess we can but that's sort of rude don't you think?” I say setting down my phone

"No! artist in America and England do it all the time." Ashton says

"I guess we could do that, when should we drop it?" I ask

"I'll talk to Cal and Luke."

I get up to go to the kitchen. I’m starving and it’s two hours until show time. I rummage around the freezer and settle on the big bag of pizza rolls and a red bull for lunch. I go back into the living room to see Ash, Cal and Luke hoovered over my phone.

“What are you assholes doing?!” I shout

“Nothing mate.” Cal says quickly hiding my phone

I grab my phone from behind his back so i can see what they have done.

Tweet: I love Ashton’s farts…23,000 RT’s

Tweet: I’m so Horny RN… 150,000 RT’s

“Really you guys?” I say not shocked

“Well at least you know there are at least 150,000 horny girls out there in the world waiting for you” Ash laughs

“Not all girls mate… maybe he needs a nice fuck boy” Luke jokes

“Fuck you guys” I say sending another tweet

Tweet: Excuse Ash, Cal and Luke, they’re assholes.

“Now why don't we go get ready to do our sound check for the show tonight yeah?” I say

“Where are we again?” Cal asks me

“Oh for fucks sake Cal..California! we are in California” I shout

“Alright boys showtime” Ralph the stage manager tells us

“Ok” we all answer

“Hurry up we’re gonna be late” Brynlee yells at me

“Shut up loser, I was finishing my hair” I say

“What for… who you tryin to impress?” Bryn sasses me

“Shut up” I say patting her cheek as I walk by

I grab my cross body purse and Brynlee and I go out to Keegan's car to wait for him. He is taking forever so I do the only logical thing and blare the horn.

“What the fuck Reg” He yells coming outside

“We’re gonna be late hurry up” I shrug my shoulders

We meet Niall and Brycen there at school

“Oi Keegan who’s the bird with the brown curly hair?” Brantley asks me

“That’s my sister why?” I squeaked

“Just wondering i've never seen her before…. She’s beautiful” he says gawking at her

“Gross dude, she’s my little sister.. Which means she’s off limits” I tell him

The first bell rings indicating we have fifteen minutes before class starts. The team goes in and changes so they can head to the main building for indoor practice since it’s started raining.

“Hey you think your sister would go for a lad like me?” Brantley asks Brycen

“I don’t know, talk to her about that.. not me” He says carelessly

Brantley and I leave with Keegan and make our way to the locker rooms. Once we are inside the main hallway we go straight to our lockers to grab our gear.. or most of us do. Brantley spots Bryn standing with Regan and some of their friends and makes a B-line in their direction.

“Urmmm Brynlee?” I hear a voice say

I turn to see who it is and bump into a pair of broad shoulders. I look up to see who is towering over me and am met with a pair of beautiful ocean blue eyes.

“Uh yeah that’s me” I smile

“Ahh hi, I’m Brantley, I play rugby and soccer with your brother Bryce. I was wondering if you would want to get tea with me sometime?” He asks shyly

“Yeah sure, when?” I ask

“Oh really you will? Um how about after school.. my house?” he asks

“Yea sure, I’ll let B know so he’s not waiting for me after school” I tell

Luke:

I’ve been trapped on this bus with these other three barbarians for six hours. Thank god we will be at the airport in about two more hours. I cannot wait to be back home.

“Mike could you please go to the back of the bus when you fart! I’m tired of smelling you!” Ashton complains.

“ I second that” Cal says

“Yeah me too… this bus stinks” I say

“Oh shove off” Michael flips us all the finger

I call my mom during passing period and she said it was ok for me to have tea with Brantley. At the end of my next class I go to find Brycen, of course he is surrounded by his friends in the hallway. I walk over to him

“Brynlee hello!” Brantley shouts waving at me

“Hi” I wave shyly" B can I have a word?” I ask

He leaves the group of people for a moment so I can speak to him

“ok so I already asked mom and she said it was ok, but I’m going with Brantley after school” I tell him

“No absolutely not” he says sternly

“What why?”

He’s 18 and you’re 16 for starters so no” Brycen says

“First off don’t tell me what I can and can’t do. secondly I’m planning on having tea not hopping into bed with him, mom said it was ok so I’m going” I say and walk away

My last four classes are so boring. My brother annoyingly mocks and interrupts the teacher causing him to be sent to the principal’s office. After the last bell rings I go to my locker to fetch my bag. I tell Regan and Keegan goody-bye; then I walk out of the front doors and see none other than Brycen hoovering over Brantley’’s car. Great now what is he doing? I walk over to the car giving Brycen the death stare as I walk by him.

“There she is” Brant throws up both arms

“Hellol” I say

“Remember what I told you lad” B said to him

“Yeah, yeah she’s your sister so off limits I know” He rolls his eyes

“Really B” I shout “Brant can we go now?” I ask

We leave but instead of heading back to Brantley’s house he gets on the highway and makes way towards the valley.

“Where are we going?” I ask

“I figure we could give Bryce a heart attack and not go back to my house… how does the beach at Big Bear sound?”

“That sounds fun, but I don't have a swimming suit” I say

"You have a bra and underwear on right?" he smirks

"Well yeah"

"Ok so that's basically the same as a bikini" he tells me with an eyebrow raised

We reach Big Bear Lake and that’s exactly what we did, went swimming in our underwear. I can't complain though i had a lot of fun actually. We had enough time left over so we went to see Sequoia State Park and drove through the giant sequoia you’re allowed to drive through. When we are done with that it was going on 6:00pm. We decide it was time to start heading back since I have to be home at 10:00pm.

“Are you hungry love?” Brantley asks watching the road

“Umm yeah I could eat” i say

When we get back into Tahoe we go to a restaurant called Fratellis.

“They have amazing authentic Italian cuisine” He tells me

I look over the menu and decide to order a parmesan crusted grilled chicken salad with buttermilk ranch dressing and a large glass of Montel pulciano red wine using my fake ID. Brant orders gamberoni dolce aqua with bruschetta and a large glass of Pinot Grigio Rose wine also using the fake ID my brother was selling last year. For dessert although I have no more room for it Brant orders two slices of Double Chocolate Truffle Cheesecake.

“So how was your dinner?” He asks me

“Oh my god it was so good, I’ve never been to Fratellis before.” I say

“Well you have been missing out” He winks

“I have yes, thank you for today” I say

“Oh you’re welcome, I had fun. You’re not as bad as Bryce made you out to be.” He laughs

“Yea well he can be an asshole sometimes..*Brantley flicks up an eye brow* Ok all of the time” I laugh

We pull into my driveway with ten minutes to spare before ten o’clock. Brycen being the nosy fuck he is, is standing in the window to his room spying on us. I lean across the center console and tell Brant. We decide to mess with him a bit and kiss as I flip off Brycen through the sunroof. Brantley walks me up to my door and we say good-bye.

When I go inside none other than MR. Wonderful himself is standing at the bottom of the staircase. I roll my eyes at him and just go to my room ignoring his shouting at me. I put on my pajamas and crawl into bed without bothering to shower because I am exhausted. As my eyes start to close I hear my phone ding so I roll over to see who it was.

Brant: I had a great time tonight.. I hope you did too

Me: Yes it was wonderful, have to do it again sometime

Brant: I’ll keep that in mind, I’ll let you get sleep and I’ll see you tomorrow.

Me: Ok good night, see you tomorrow

Brant: Good night pretty girl

i see him write back and start to blush.
