-13 years later-
*Rose's P.O.V*
"Hunter and I have had a wonderful life together, I don't know where to start me and him met when I was just sixteen I remember when I saw him I thought he was just another bad boy that just wanted one thing, but he turned out to be the opposite of that when he took me out on that wonderful first date, I would like to thank Uncle Niall for helping him set up that date. It was the best date I have ever had." I looked over to where Niall was sitting and I smiled at him, I was on the verge of tears just thinking about how great that date was.
"It's upsetting to think Hunter won't be able to be here to see the birth of his first baby girl, but I know he will be watching from up above." I said letting a tear slip down my cheek. I tried to keep the rest of the tears from falling, I need to stay strong for Gavin, Gavin is our first born.
We had him three and half years before he was moved to Iraq. Then I got pregnant with our second child just before he left.
"I know that some of may not know, but Hunter died by saving a little girl's life. He took a bullet straight in the stomach and died from blood loss. I'm so proud of him, he was kind enough to give up his own life to a little girl who barely to love her own. You want to know what Hunter told me before he left 'Rose, if I don't come back I don't want to have a funeral where people mourn and are sad. I want people to celebrate my life I want them to be happy with what I have accomplished.' And you know what that what we are going to do." I bent over and picked up Gavin who had a tight grip on my left leg. I placed him on my hip.
"Alright! Now let's celebrate the wonderful life of Hunter James Horan!" I said with enthusiasm.
