The Nephew
Chapter Eleven.
"Hey Hunter!" My aunt chirped as I walked downstairs.
"Hi auntie." I said rubbing my eyes. She set down her cup of tea and looked at me with concern.
"Are you okay?" She asked. No I wasn't fine, the talk me and Hannah had an hour earlier hit me and brought back awful memories I didn't want to think about.
"Yeah I'm fine, just still a little tired." I lied. She nodded her head but I can tell she didn't buy it.
"Do you have any plans today?" She asked after a couple minutes of an awkward silence.
"No." I said shoving my hands into my jeans
"You, Hannah and the other kids should go do something today." She suggested.
"I guess that will be cool." I said nodding my head.
"Hunter are you sure you are okay?" She said walking up to me.
"Yeah." I said quickly, she sighed.
"I can see right through you. Just to let you know. I can see a hurt, broken boy that is under this 'bad boy' act." She said resting her hand on my shoulder. "You know you can talk to me about anything. Because you know I am the cool aunt." She said giving me a warm smile.
"I know I just don't like talking about it." I said truthfully.
"It's not good to keep it bottled up though. You are just like your uncle, you are actually a spitting image of your uncle; you guys act the same. You look almost identical to him besides the brown eyes. But your uncle would bottle up his feelings and wouldn't tell me things, and it made him depressed I don't want that to happen to you." She said softly, she had sencerity in her eyes.
"Do you really want to know what happened back in Ireland?" I asked. I know uncle Niall wouldn't tell her.
"Yes, tell me. And don't leave out a single detail." She said sitting down at one of the barstool chairs.
"Well
