Catch a Star
Chapter 27
NIALLS POV
There's a loud bang that comes from outside my door. I jump from my bed and rush to my door to see what it was. I look through the peephole. I see nothing at first but as I lower my vision I see a girl lying on the floor. Mads? I open the door and crouch down to her side. She looks as if she passed out. I move her hair to the side to look at her face.
"MADS!?" I question while slightly shaking her. She responds but only with a movement of lips. Her eyes stay closed. I pull her up of the around and carry her bridal style into my suit. I lay her down on my bed and search her pockets for her phone. I find it in her back pocket. If this were any other moment I would blush it get turned on with the touch but it was urgent. I turn on her phone and search through her contacts. I come across her sister and dial the number. It rings about four times before she finally picks up.
"Maddi?" say a high pitched voice.
"Kayla?" I ask just to make sure.
"Um yeah, who is this and why are you using my sisters phone?"
"Its Niall. Something happened." I heard her drop something.
"What? Is she okay? What happened?"
"Kayla I don't know does she have a past of just passing out? I found he lying on the floor. I don't think anything happened she's just asleep at the moment." There was a moment of silence before she let out a breath and spoke.
"She's probably just tired. She tends to over work herself. She was complaining about lack of sleep when I talked to her a few hours ago and chances are she hasn't slept at all since then." I look ed down at Mads and walked over to the small kitchen on the corner.
"Okay thank god. I was worried. So I'm just going to let her sleep."
"Sounds great. And Niall thanks for taking care about of her. Tell her to call me when she wakes up."
"Yeah no problem and will do." I hang up and walk over to Mads. She looked to peaceful, and so tired too. I grabbed the blanket from the end of the bed and pulled it up to her shoulders. I couldn't help the my next action. I leaned down and softly pressed my lips to hers. There was a spark, as weird as that sounds there was. Even with her asleep there was something there. I walked away to take a step outside the room. I walk to the balcony and step out. A crowd cheers I hurt and close the sliding door in hope that it didn't wake her. I look in and see her roll around a little bit but nothing more. I look down at the group of people, waving at them. I take a seat and look out qt the city. I hangout out there for about ten minutes before I hear a sliding door next to me. I look over and see Zayn walk out. Another rounds of cheers erupt from the crowd when they see him. I wave at him and he does the same back. He looks upset like something happened. I grab my phone from my pocket and decide to text him since nothing could be heard over the yelling.
TO ZAYN: HEY MATE ANYTHING WRONG?
A few moments go by until I get a text.
FROM ZAYN: JUST CONFUSED AT THE MOMENT. ILL EXPLAIN LATER.
I look over at him and nod right before I walk back inside. Every time I would look out to see if he was still there he would be. He just sat there chain smoking his cigarettes as her stared out across the city.
The last time I checked on him was about ten o'clock and I was pretty knackered so I went to sleep soon after.
MADS POV
My eyes open to a bright light. It takes a second for my thoughts to kick in but I soon remember I was supposed to meet Zayn in the lobby at 7:00. I look around and decide I mist have dozed off while getting ready. I glance at the clock that read 6:40. A cloud of confusion washes over me as I try to remember details. I swore that the last time I looked at the clock it said 6:59. I lift my body up and turn to the door. I hear a weird sound come from behind me and as I turn to inspect it I jump onto my feet.
"NIALL!?" He shoots out of bed and looks at me. He rubs his eyes as he looks at the clock.
"How you feeling?" he ask nonchalantly.
"I'm fine now get out of my room. How the hell did you get in here anyway?" he looks at me with confusion but then he starts to realize something. He sat up and revealed him naked chest. My eyes closed over him for a second but then back to his eyes.
"Mads this is my room. I found you passed out on the floor in the hallway and brought you in here. I talked to your sister and she told me that you were just exhausted so I let you sleep." A new wave of confusion washes over me and then the prices start to come together.
"So you're telling me it is 6:30 in the morning and not night?" he nods his head and starts to stand up.
"Shit shit shit." I bring my hands up to my head and pace back and forth. I have to find Zayn.
"What's wrong?" He asks as he walks over to me.
"I have to find Zayn watch out." I shove him to the side as I walk toward the door.
"What why?" Niall asks sounding slightly annoyed.
" I just do." I say as I open the door only to come in contact with a hard chest. I look up to see Zayn looking down at me. He didn't look happy. He looked behind me at Niall and then back to me. He takes a step back just shakes his head and starts to walk down the hall. I grab his arm to stop him.
"No Zayn! Its not what it looks like!" I say while trying to fight back tears.
