“Soooooo how was your date?” Louis was cooing over my shoulder while I made scrambled eggs

“It was nice.” I smiled knowing he wasn’t going to drop it.

“And? Tell me about it.” He set his chin on my shoulder and wrapped his arms all the way around my waist.

“We went out to dinner then went walking through Main Street and came home.” I shrugged and separated out the eggs into 5 bowls. “Sir, please let go.” I shook him off.

“That sounds nice.” He kissed my cheek and let go of me.

“Yea, it was. Will you help me?” I laughed pointing to the two bowls left on the counter.

He picked them up and walked behind me to the table where the rest of the guys were sitting. We passed them out and sat down. I looked down at my smoothie and felt my mouth start watering.

“You aren’t eating?” Liam asked with a mouth full of food.

“Nope, just having my smoothie.” I put my mouth and the straw and enjoyed the flavor of the smoothie.

“Can I try it?” Niall was always trying to steal my food.

“No, you’ll drink it all.” I joked.

“All make you a new one?” He was basically begging.

“Fine.” With a sigh, I handed it over to him.

He took a drink and smiled at me, that’s when I knew I wasn’t getting it back from him. I frowned and stood up to go back to the kitchen but Harry stood up before I could get off my chair.

“I’ll make it.” He kissed my cheek and walked away.

I smiled to myself and looked down at my lit up phone. Instead of answering it, I set it on the table and looked to my left and saw Louis giving me a questioning look.

“What?” I asked not understanding what he was getting at.

“You okay?” He asked obviously talking about the phone call.

“Yea.” I lied.

“Do you guys want to share something with the rest of us?” Niall asked after slurping the last of the smoothie.

“Nope.” I shook my head and looked at my phone again now that I had a text.

From: Taylor
Hey sis, I really need to talk to you so call me when you get the chance please. I love you.

I locked my phone and set it down on my lap again. Louis was still looking at me but I ignored him and looked over at Zayn who hadn’t talked since I sat down.

“Hey dumbass.” I got his attention. “What’re you doing today?”

“Nothing?” He looked surprised. “What about you jackass?”

“I have work in an hour but after that I have no clue.” I always tried to make conversation with him because he never started a conversation with anyone.


Harry’s POV

“Alright, I gotta go babe.” Sage walked up to me with her purse hung over her shoulder.

“Okay, have a good day.” I leaned over and kissed her lips before she grabbed the car keys. “I love you.”

“Love you too.” She waved to me and left the kitchen and walked into the living room. “Bye guys.”

“Bye” I heard all of them mumble and then the door close.

I went back to cleaning the kitchen. Cleaning always made me feel better and for some reason, I was just having an off day. It was basically clean when I started but I just needed to do something, all of my thoughts were negative and I needed a distraction.

“Haa-aazzzz” Louis walked into the kitchen. “You okay Hazz?”

I answered with a shrug and kept cleaning. I guess he didn't like my answer so he stood in my way while I walked to the stove. He leaned his back against the edge of the stove and looked at me in his typical “Telllll meeeee” look.

“I’m just not feeling good today.” I shrugged and looked away but he still didn't move. “Louis, can you please move?”

“No. I’m not going to let you spend your day cleaning. Especially since I know that your thoughts are fighting themselves and making you feel terrible.” He knew me too well. “You and I are going out.”

“There’s no way to get out of this is there?” I sighed when I saw him shake his head. “Fine, I’ll go change.”
