Lexi’s P.O.V.

“Angel, I’d love to watch you sleep all day. But you need to get up. We have an interview,” Harry said I opened my eyes to see a dressed up Harry towering me.

“Alright, Dimples,” I said throwing the covers away and rubbing the sleep for my eyes. “You’re turning me on, babe,” Harry said leaning in for a kiss. “Morning breath,” I told him pointing at my mouth. He wrapped his arms around me kissing my collarbone. “Go wait in the car, Styles,”
I slapped his arms away. He rubbed his arm and pouted. I pushed him out of the room and told him that I’d take fifteen minutes. I quickly brushed and showered, then looked for the right outfit. Exactly seven minutes later I was ready . I did a twirl in front of my full length mirror, then snatched a pop-tart from the counter and walked towards Harry’s Audi.


“Babe, it’s gonna be okay,” Harry placed his hand on mine. “I certainly hope so,” I mumbled. He traced the ring on my finger. “We’re doing this together,” Harry said pressing a kiss on my forehead. I nodded and we walked hand in hand towards the studio.

“Look who’s here! My favorite celebrity couple!” Nick Grimshaw excitedly pulled me in a hug. “I’m not a celebrity Nick,” I told him. “Well now you are, love. At least after the amazing performance you put at Wembley,” I blushed. “Long time no see, Harold,” he said hugging Harry. “Yeah, I’ve been a little busy lately,” Harry told him, then winked at me. “I saw that,” Grimmy pouted, “you’re cheating on me!” he yelled. I giggled as they bantered back and forth. “You both are on in five minutes,” Grimmy said after a while. I twirled a stray strand of hair. Harry walked towards me and tuck the strand behind my hair. “You’ll be fine,” He mumbled against my lips. I nodded putting a brave face.

“Hellooo, London!” Grimmy said in his mic. “Welcome to the Breakfast show with Nick Grimshaw. Today I’m with my two most favorite people ever—Harry Styles and his bird Alexis Tomlinson!”

“Helloo,” me and Harry said simultaneously.

“Harry has an announcement to make,” Grimmy said.

I looked at Harry he held my hand and spoke, “I know there have been rumors about me and Lexi being engaged. We aren’t really engaged, since we are too young to get married, but I have given Lexi a promise ring and promised her forever,” he smiled at me. I nodded kissing him on the cheek. “You know you broke a million hearts out there,” Grimmy told me. I laughed, “I’m sorry, girls. But Harry will always have a special place for you in his heart that no one can ever take. Not even me,” I said in the mic. “See, that’s the reason I love her,” Harry told Grimmy draping his arm over my shoulder.

“Now it’s time for twitter questions,” Grimmy told us during the commercial.

“Welcome back, everyone. Now Harold and Alexis are going to answer questions for you,” Grimmy said. “The first question is from, @Skylar1d4ever—How did Harry ask you?” He looked at me. “Well, Harry and me had a picnic and then we were boating back, when I saw a frog, and I jumped in the water,” Grimmy and Harry started laughing. I groaned, “I’m scared of frogs,” I whined. “Do you want to hear the rest of it or not?” I threatened him. Grimmy stopped laughing abruptly, but Harry didn’t. I slapped his arm, and continued, “So, well Harry tried pulling me but I pulled him in and so… Harry basically asked me in the water,” I said. “That explains this,” Grimmy said pointing towards the screen, showing a picture of I and Harry kissing in the lake. I hid in Harry’s chest, while my cheeks turned pink. “Don’t hide, love,” Grimmy said, which made me snuggle more.

After a few more questions we came towards the last question, “@Brianna1D_is_my_life, wants to know what you guys hate about each other?” I thought about it, “Uhmm, what irritates me most is—Harry can sleep all day if he wants to. I remember that day when I had to jump all day on his bead and curse in every language I knew, but he didn’t get his lard arse off the bed,” I told Grimmy. “Really, Lex! What about the day when the lads were yelling at the top of their lungs. I got up but you laid in bed all day until I dragged you out of the room and poured a bucket of cold water on you,” he said. “Harold, don’t even start!” I warned him. “Uh-huh,” he smirked. “You keep chocolate bars under your pillow,” I told him. “You wake me up at 2 in the morning to eat mint-chocolate-chip ice-cream!” he exclaimed.

“You walk around the house naked,” I grinned. “And you flipped the kitchen around because you couldn’t pasta, almost knocking the life out of me,” he countered.

“He likes to give me Dutch ovens, which is where he traps me under the blankets and farts! Those are the worst!” I told Grimmy sticking my tongue at him.

“Whenever she’s driving the car, she likes to lock the windows while turning the heat on and then fart. I swear she tries to kill me!” Harry said. I slapped his arms before saying, “And you walk around the flat with your hands cupped to your chest, singing ‘I’ve Got A Lovely Bunch of Coconuts,” I looked at Nick who was laughing on the floor.

“Alright you both, shut up now,” he said in between breathes.

“Our time with you is now sadly over, and it was amazing having you both here,” Kiss you started playing while Grimmy couldn’t stop laughing. “You guys are amazing,” he said. Harry put an arm around me, and after a while we left.

“That wasn’t bad,” Harry said opening the door for me. “Yeah except the part when you embarrassed me.”

“Well it was the truth,” he said revving the car. I rolled my eyes.

“Well all those little imperfections make you even more perfect,” he told me kissing my nose. I giggled.

We both returned home in the evening after, lunch and ice-cream. Then we had a movie marathon. I slowly drifted to sleep on Harry’s chest.

“SO YOU’RE SAYING I CAN’T PLAY?!” I yelled at Zayn. He shook his head with a smirk plastered on his face. “It’s on Malik,” I said gluing my eyes to the screen.
Zayn groaned after losing for the third time. I grinned dropping the remote control on the couch, “What say, now?” he rolled his eyes. We were playing FIFA and Zayn declared I couldn’t play. Poor lad! “That was a video game. You’ll have to beat me in real football. I raised my eyebrows and he smirked again. Louis was shaking his head wildly from behind. He knew I was the athletic one in the family. I’d played football all through middle school and a while in high school, but gave it up during my senior year because of well… Scott. “Alright, DJ Malik, Girls vs. the lads. We’re leaving in ten,” I told him and sprinted back to Lou’s flat getting changed.

“Alrighty lads,” I smirked rubbing my hands together. “It’s going to be us girls versus you,” I said pointing towards the five lads. “Won’t that be unfair, though?” Niall asked. “Yeah, it would. Lex and El together, is not good,” Louis mumbled. El smirked and we high-fived. “No we’re good,” I told them. They looked at me weirdly, I glared back.

“Let’s play!” Zayn grinned devilishly. “I’ll be the goalie,” Dani said walking towards the goal. I nodded turning to face the lads.

“GO!”

Zayn got the ball first kicking it towards Liam, Perrie easily stepped in blocking Liam and kicked the ball towards me. I gave her a thumbs up before heading towards the net. Harry stepped in between, towering me with his tall frame. I kicked it from in between his legs towards El. Harry looked shocked, I stuck my tongue at him, running towards the goal. El hit the ball towards the goal, Louis caught it and smirked evilly. El and I rolled our eyes. Lou hit the ball hard towards Harry. I jumped in between giving it a header and the ball landed in the goal. I grinned giving El and Perrie a high-five. I heard cheering from behind. All of us turned around to see a group of teenagers watching us play.

Zayn plopped to the ground, groaning. I laughed, sticking my hand out for him. He rolled his eyes, I shrugged taking my hand back. The lads were angry after losing 3 to 9, except Louis who kept on yelling throughout the game, “This is a bad idea. They’ll win!!” Now he was yelling, “Told you, so!”

“What say, Bradford bad boy?” I asked Zayn, he stood up walking towards me. I raised my eyebrows. He started tickling my side. “N-no, th-that’s not e-even fai-fair!” I tried screaming in between laughs. He didn’t stop. I collapsed on the grassy field, after I couldn’t take it anymore. “You really are a bad boy!” I gasped, still trying to breathe normally. “Yeah?” he asked bringing his fingers towards me. “No!” I yelled running towards Harry. I hid behind him, “Knight in shining armor?” I asked him, making the others laugh. “Whatever,” I huffed, and turned towards Harry, who had an amusing expression.



Harry’s P.O.V.

It was afternoon by the time we returned home. “What are we doing, next?” Lexi asked resting her head on my chest. “Well…” El trailed off, Lexi turned giving her full attention to Eleanor. “We kinda…uhm,” El looked at Dani. “Wehavetogotowork,” Dani said all of us looked at her trying to figure out what she said, while Lexi’s face fell. “Both of you?” she asked softly. They nodded. “How long?” she asked. “For the rest of the day,” El said looking sorry, “And the whole day tomorrow,” Dani added. “You guys know I’m leaving in two days right?” she asked. Now everyone’s face fell. We hadn’t talked about Lexi leaving at all, completely ignoring the fact that she’d leave in two—more like one and a half days. They nodded again not meeting her eyes. She turned around snuggling in my chest, and I slowly felt my shirt soaking in Lexi’s tears.

“Lex, c’mon babe, I’m still here,” Perrie said pulling Lexi off my chest. “Thanks Per-bear,” Lexi sniffled and pulled Perrie in a hug. “What are we going to do, lads?” Perrie asked us, her right arm was still around Lexi.

“Lexi loves to see us rehearsing, and… WE’VE GOT REHEARSELS TODAY!” Lou said twirling Lexi around. She gave us a weak smile, before the two of them went to get changed.

After fifteen minutes I went to Lexi's room to ask the girls to come out, when I heard sobbing. "I just don't know Per," Lexi said softly. "I c-can't. I mean I've never been i-in a long dis-distance relationship," she mumbled. I heard rustling of the sheets, maybe Perrie was hugging Lex? "I'd never been in one before Zayn either," Perrie said. "B-but, everyday there are rumors about Harry with a new girl. Even when I'm here, however much I try to control my anger. I can't when I'm a whole country away from him," I clenched my fists, as anger boiled inside me.

"Lexi, Harry loves you. I haven't seem him like this since..." she trailed off, "Since never! He's never been so in love. And when Harry Styles tells a girl he loves her you ought to believe him," Perrie told her. ""I d-do... I just I can't stay without him for an hour. How in the world will I stay away from him for the next eight months," I couldn't take it any longer I walked in the room.

I placed my arms around Lexi's waist. "I'll make this work, baby. We'll make this work. I've never been so in love and will never be. I wouldn't lose you for anything in the world," I told her as a tear rolled down my cheek. She nodded and pressed a kiss on my lips, it felt like butterflies and fireworks, full of lust, love and care. Just like the first time, like everything a kiss should be. "I'm sorry," she said. I wiped her tears and kissed her again.
