Summary

Caroline Pearson receives the offer of a lifetime to become the key royal photographer for the Crowned Prince Alfred, next in line for the British throne. What she doesn't expect is to fall for the heir's spare, Prince Harry.

Callum Watford

Carolina's friend and ex from her hometown. He was always there for her when she needed him, and he offered her a safe place away from home. However, when both moved away for uni, they decided to break up for good.

Carolina Pearson

Key Royal Photographer for the Crowned Prince Alfred, heir to the British throne. She's a perfectionist to her core, which often makes her late but over-prepared for everything.

Crowned Prince Alfred

Heir to the British throne. He has a lot of pressure on his shoulders to be who his parents want him to be and who the public expect him to be, but behind closed doors he leads a secret, much different life. He is often seen with many different women, but takes his role as heir very seriously.

Jude Lawson

Prince Harry's royal photographer, friend of Carolina Pearson.

King Henry and wife Victoria

Very traditional, conservative parents, but also head of the monarchy in Britain. They hold their sons to a very high standard and do not allow for any slips in the public eye.

Pippa Wellington

Best friend and flatmate to Carolina Pearson. She's a paralegal in London and, because she has a full-time job, does most of the bill paying for the flat. She's extremely intelligent and kind, but often her mind is doing too many things at once that she seems a bit spacey and forgetful. She has a large crush on Prince Alfred.

Prince Harry

The heir's spare for the British throne. The youngest son to the King and his wife is often believed to be gay because he has never once been seen with a woman. He stays out of the spotlight because he's been told that it belongs to his brother instead. He is very quiet, but once someone gets to know the real him, they know he is extremely cheeky and witty, even going so far as to call him the funniest of the family but with a heart of gold.

William Mastfield

Executive director of all staff departments at Buckingham Palace. He interiewed and hired Carolina Pearson for her job and serves as her mentor. He can be a deep and emotional man, but keeps a strong and stern personality at all times.

Carolina celebrates her new job and gets a tour of the palace. There, she runs into a familiar face.
Chapter Three

Carolina learns more about her job and her mentor, William Mastfield, and meets a handsome Scottish coworker before finally meeting Prince Alfred.

At the fashion show, Carolina falls into a dangerous scenario where a handsome prince saves her.
Chapter Five

Carolina learns to manage her situation after the traumatic event. In the wake of it all, she asks Jude a too-personal question and Prince Harry offers her an escape.
Chapter Six

Carolina gets swept off her feet by going to a place close to Prince Harry's heart. While there, the prince open up to her but leaves her feeling unnerved when they leave.
