The Enemy [17+]

"I can't believe you followed me to a third world country." I complained, avoiding eye contact. "How did you pull off the seating arrangements?"

"That's a Styles secret, but I actually love coming here. I've many lovers on this tiny island." Harry grinned.

"None I'd want to hear about." I spat back and he huffed.

"Jealous?" He asked and I shot him a glare. "More champagne? I did pay for it after all."

"In that case you can take your glass back." I said forcibly opening the table in front of him and placing the champagne on his table. A bit spilled and he frowned.

"Wasteful." He frowned. "Napkin please!"

"I want to go back to my boyfriend." I pleaded.

"There's so much more space here." Harry said as he took a napkin from the attendant and patted himself down.

"I am tired of seeing you. I'm tired of doing this!" I said through gritted teeth. "I don't want you Harry."

"But I want you, and that makes all the difference." His green eyes stared into mine and his face was totally serious. Suddenly, that look sucked all of the spunk I had out of me, and I silently sat in my seat, annoyed at my situation.

Once we landed, I quickly got my stuff and shuffled out of the plane. Hunter was still behind and I didn't see him until we were in the airport.

"Hey, what's up?" Hunter asked as he wrapped me in a hug. "The attendant told me what happened after I woke up to an older lady that could take up about 2 seats."

I felt myself turn pale.

"Well... I mean--"

"Who did you sit next to? I hope it was more comfortable than mine." Hunter grinned as he rolled his suitcase.

I exhaled.

"Oh... they were fine. A bit snobbish but okay I guess." I smiled nervously.

"Hope they didn't get on your nerves, I know you hate snobby people." He said with a risen brow.

"You have no idea." I shook my head.

After a short bus ride to our resort, our breath was taken away from the palm trees, the large white main building and a beautiful lobby. Our resort had three pools, a few bungalow options and a beach. We didn't have bungalow money so we stayed in a normal hotel room.

Once we got settled Hunter and I looked out on our balcony. People took surfing classes in the morning sun.

"I've gotta try that." Hunter shook his head.

"So go ahead. Try it. I'll figure out something to do in the meantime." I smiled.

"Are you sure?" He asked.

"Yeah, go ahead." I nodded and he smiled, grabbing his swimsuit and running out the room to go downstairs. Then I realized Hunter forgot his room key.

After a knock on the door I rolled my eyes.

"You forgot something, Hunter?" I said as I opened the door.

"Expensive hotel, wonder who paid for that?" Harry asked at the door.

"I went on vacation to get away from you, not have you follow me to another country! " I protested as Harry stepped inside and shut the door behind him.

"I'm sorry if you're pride won't allow you to let me help you but I won't stop. I care about you Tai."

"You care about someone other than yourself? That's unheard of!"

"Tai, let me make it up to you. Let's go out to a little jerk chicken place I go to when I'm here." He suggested. Somehow, I said yes and found myself off to his little hole in the wall restaurant.

He handed the people money at the restaurant to pay for our food.

"American money only." The woman said as she shook her head. He huffed and took out his wallet and took out the cash.

"Are you done?" Our driver said as he watched us finish up.

"Yeah." Harry said and both of us walked to the car to drive home.

"I've somewhere special to take you." Harry informed me and I looked up at the bluish-red sky.

"It's almost sundown." I noted and Harry shrugged.

"It'll be good. Promise." He insisted. "You know where to, Delroy."

The driver nodded and the car sped away to our destination.
