High For This

Elizabeth’s POV

I laid on the floor trying to catch my breath. I grabbed my water bottle and gulped some down. I closed the bottle and stood up. I was drenched in my sweat.

The song ‘Big Bank’ was playing throughout the whole studio. Diane was sitting next to me on her phone typing away. I pulled my phone from my pocket to check the time.

‘12:00’

Damn I’ve been here for three almost four hours. I come to notice I had some messages from Astrid, and Louis.

From: Louis-.-

Help.. I’m stuck in Math! I’m going to die of BOREDOM! Please save me.. :,(

I chuckled at how childish Lou can be. I began tapping away to respond to his text.

To: Louis-.-
Shh.. pay attention to class!

I slid out of our conversation and went to Astrid’s convo.

From: Astrid (:
How much do you love me?


To: Astrid (:
What do you want?


The little bubbles popped up meaning she was typing. This girl is in 4th period and texting me instead of paying attention in class. My phone buzzed as Astrid’s message popped up.

From: Astrid (:
Can you bring me Subway! I would ditch 5th but like Niall has been telling me to not skip class anymore..

Aww.. That’s cute. I like that Niall is telling Astrid to stay in class. I’ve told her before to stay in class and not ditch it would work occasionally.

To: Astrid (:
Fine.. you want the usual, with lays?

From: Astrid (:
YAY! Yes please. You the best<3

To: Astrid (:
Ok I’ll be at the field to give it to you. Now focus in class.

I began to stand up from the floor and began collecting my things. I grabbed my bag and stuffed my water bottle inside it.

“Today was great Diane! I’ll come by tomorrow same time is that cool?”

“Of course it is! See you tomorrow cariño!” Diane said as she waved

I smiled and stepped out making me way to the door. I pushed the door open with my back as I fumbled to grabbed my car keys. I unlocked my car threw my backpack on the passengers side as I slid in the drivers side. I turned on the ignition, and drove off.

I drove for 10 minutes and stopped at Subway. I parked my car grabbing my phone and wallet. I then stepped out locking my door. I watched my step as I made my way inside. I was greeted by a nice girl.

I told her my order and watched as she made Astrid’s sub then mine. I went to grab Astrid’s lays and cheetos for me.

“Liz what are you doing here?”

I looked up making eye contact with Carlos. I held my chest trying to calm my heart beat down. I instantly went to hit his shoulder.

“Aye! what the hell!” He rubbed his shoulder

“You scared me asshole!”

“So you proceed to hit me. Wow what a nice cousin you are” he said sarcastically

I rolled my eyes, as I reached for my card to slide it. I punched in the code.

“You never answered my question!”

“Gosh. I got suspended o-”

“You! suspended? Whatttt. Why?”

“Nunya” I said

“What the hell is Nunya?”

“It’s None ya business chismoso! Now why are you here?”
(nosey)

“I hate when you say that. Anyway I’m here getting food for Daryl and I. you remember Daryl?” Carlos said as he smirked deviously.


“As a matter a fact I do remember Daryl. Do you remember Melody?” I asked while raising an eyebrow

Carlos glared at me. He hated when I brought up Melody. Melody was Carlos ‘Daryl’ in a way and it was funny,

“Well it was funny catching up with you ugly but I have to give this to your sister. See you tonight!”

I began grabbing my items and started to make my way out.
“Bye!”

I went to my car unlocked it and out the food on the side. Turning it on I pulled out and drove off.

~Skip Car ride~

I typed up a text for Astrid for the 4th time. No answer. I successfully had sneaked past the security and was near the bleachers waiting for Astrid to pick up her food.


Jesus how long does this girl take to walk her ass to the field. I began to feel agitated because I was getting hungry. I sat on the bleachers not giving a crap if I got yelled at by security for being here. I leaned back as I checked to see if Astrid had answered.

Nothing.

I heard the sound of someone walking. I looked up to see Harry making his way to me. He looked up and made eye contact with me stopping his tracks. His face showed confusion but recovered instantly and sat next to me.

“Louis uh told me to come here..” Harry said

“Astrid made me bring her subway. Her ass didn’t show up” I responded causing him to chuckle.

I smiled softly as I watched Harry chuckle. His dimple revealing itself for a second. He then licked his lips before responding.

“I think we’ve been played.”

He then turned to look at me waiting for my response.

“I guess we have..” I trailed off. I should’ve caught on. This girl never says ‘you are the best’ with a heart.

“Have you ate?” I asked politely

“Nope..” he said making the p pop.

“Here.” I handed him Astrid’s sandwich.

He at first looked at it but then grabbed it and began opening it. I pulled my sandwich out and took a bite of mine. I closed my eyes, enjoying the flavor. I was hungry.

“Must you always moan when eating Kitten?”

I looked him with judgmental eyes. I swallowed my food before speaking.

“You are no one to judge Curly.” I said

Harry rolled his eyes in annoyance at my nickname for him.

“Why must you call me Curly?” He grumbled out then took another bite of his sub.

I crossed my legs and looked at him.

“Well your hair is curly, and because I like calling you that” I said
I bit my sub once again. I looked up at Harry to see he was smirking at me. I covered my mouth and spoke.

“What?”

“So you like me?” Harry said making my eyes go wide. Did I say that.

“Like is a strong word.” I said jokingly

Harry rolled his eyes at my remark. He then took another bite.

“Well, you are very confusing person Harry. You can be an asshole one minute to very sweet the next.” I said

Harry stayed silent as he chewed on his food. I sipped on my water as I thought on what to say next. Harry cleared his throat causing me to look at him. He place the sandwich down and scooted closer to me.

“Look love. This is all new to me.. you make me so confused.”

I furrowed my eyebrows as I processed what he said. How do I make you confused. It’s you who makes me confused. Harry took my silence as I didn’t understand.

“Like.. I find you attractive there’s no secret there. But like I don’t do relationships.”

I felt myself get upset. So he finds me attractive but won’t do dating.

“So I’m like your play toy. Okay. Got it Harry.” I said standing up collecting my trash. I began stepping down the bleachers. Getting to the dirt I began walking away.

“Elizabeth! Come back!”

“Sorry Styles but I’m not going to be used for your amusement any more. Yesterday I thought you were sweet but I guess I’m just one of your conquests.”

“Yo-”

“I’m not one of your whores. Just go back to fucking the homophobe and leave me alone.” I said

With I made a run for it to the gate. I slid out and ran to the front of school. Getting into my car I pulled out and drove off.
