High For This

Elizabeth’s POV

I laid on my bed with Liam on one side and Astrid on the other. Astrid came earlier today since she has to stay here.
Since both her parents are out of town she was planning on sleeping over. Leaving the house to her older brother. Well her brother bribed her to leave for the night so that’s interesting.

“What shall we do sister?” Astrid said turning over to look at me.

I scrunched up my face in annoyance. She knows I hate that word considering that is over used now.

“I’ve told you multiple times not to call me that asshat” I grumbled out dropping my phone on my comforter.

I looked to the side to notice Liam was sound asleep. His head on my pillow while his little legs were over my back. I shrugged my shoulders and turn my attention back on Astrid.

“Sister Shut up”

I rolled my eyes in defeat. Astrid phone began to ring. She reached for her phone instantly to answer.

“Hey Li... Nothing much at Liz’s house... um I don’t know let me ask..”

Astrid turned to me while lifting her phone up.

“The group wants to know if they can come over..?”

I stayed quiet and thought about it. Eh why not. Carl is out with Elliot at the moment. Liam is well you know sleeping. I nodded my head earning a ‘yes’ from Astrid.

I chuckled softly as I carefully tried moving Liam’s legs without waking him. Successfully I was able to slide out with no complications making me smile triumphantly. Astrid ended the call and turned to me.

“Help me with Liam’s work yeah?”

Astrid nodded as she reached for Liam while I collected his Spider-Man backpack. I grabbed his blue folder and put it in his backpack and closing it. I heard a little yelp causing me to turn my head in alert.

“I don’t want to goo”

I walked out to see a now awake Liam standing across from Astrid while crossing his arms and pouting making me chuckle.

“Liam.. you have to go take your nap”

Astrid started kneeling to his height. She tried grabbing his arm just for him to step back. Astrid looked up at me asking for help with her eyes.

“No. I not sleepy. I want to play!”

I began giggling cause Liam to look at me with his big glossy grey eyes. He is tired but since our parents aren’t here he doesn’t like being left by himself. There was a knock on the door causing Liam to smile at us deviously and ran.

“Liam!”
Astrid and I took off after Liam trying to catch up to him. Astrid got tierd and stayed behind while I caught up to humble and picked him up from the side. I held him with my left arm and reached to unlock the door.

Liam was laughing uncontrollably in my hold and moving back and forth. An was mumbling on and on, how he beat us.

“Liam! Calamado”
(Calm down)

I moved back allowing the door to open and there revealed everyone in the group. They all waved before their stares landing on Liam.

“Ignore this little munchkin. He’s being a little brat today” I said stepping a side and let them in.

“Yo no soy bwat! You bwat”
(I am not a brat!)

Liam said making me give him a stern look. Liam calmed down a little but still was mumbling. Everyone made their way to my sofa.
My eyes made eye contact with Liana, I looked the other way still feeling her stare. I closed the door slowly then placed Liam on his feet. Before I could say anything he ran off to the boys.

“Oi How are you Liam?”

“I’m good”

“We have the same name mate. My name’s Liam to”

I made my way to the guys and watched Liam talk to them. I come to notice the only spot left was in between Liana and Harry.

Oh wow thanks.

I guess I’m sitting on the floor. I sat down and crossed my legs and leaned against Astrid’s leg and watched Liam.

“Love why are you sitting on the floor sit right here” Louis said standing up. I began shaking my head.

“No, No, No it’s fine” I said

“You sure love?” Louis asked uneasily

“I’m sure” I said while smiling

I grabbed Liam and pulled him down so he was sitting on my lap. Liam looked at me with annoyance then got over it. He started to play with my rings.

“Anywho party at my house tomorrow! Y’all are invited” Astrid said

I looked up at her with confusion.

“Girl aren’t you sleeping over my house cause Carlos doesn’t want you there?”

“Ok but... It’s my house he can suck my di-toe” Astrid said while clearing her throat.

“Nice save mensa”
(Dumbass)

“Thanks sister.. you guys can stay the night aswell Carlos will be to drunk to protest”

The guys began nodding their heads in agreement as they began talking amongst themselves.

I rolled my eyes and laughed turning my attention to Liam. I let my hand go through his hair. Liam was slowly going to sleep on my lap once again. I pressed a kiss on his forehead while leaning back. I brought up Liam’s little arms to wrap them around my neck and slowly started to stand.

I felt eyes watching me, I looked up to make eye contact with emerald eyes. I smiled softly at Harry, before turning my attention on Liam once again. Jesus he I said heavy how in the heck did Astrid carry him.

Finally being able to get a balance I excused myself from the others and made my way upstairs. I watched my step carefully as I went up the steps. I get to the top and made my way to Liam’s room.

I opened it and pushed it open with my back, for it to swing open widely. I laid Liam on his car bed and covered him with his blanket. I turn to walk away.

“Liz.. don’t go.”

I sighed and turned around once again. I sat on one side and held his little hand.

“Ok Li. I’m right here I’m not going anywhere..” I whispered

“Ok.. I miss mommy and daddy..” he responded

Ugh my dad. I can’t stand to even think about him.

“Me too Li.. They’ll be back soon okay..?”

He nodded his head once again before looking behind me. I turned around to make eye contact with Liana. I turned to look at Liam to see he wasn’t slowly going to sleep.

“Can we talk..?”

“About?”

“Come one Liz.. you know what”

I closed my eyes and let out a breath. I pressed my lips tightly before nodding my head. I kissed Liams head and walked towards the door and closed it quietly. I turn to look at Liana and crossed my arms over my chest.

“Yes..?”

“I’m sorry for what you saw Liz..”

“Liana I said there is no need to explain yourself.. we aren’t really an item we were just screwing around..” I said

Liana’s eyes showed pain before being covered up.

“I Wow.. I thought Ok..”

“Don’t do this Liana.. let’s be just end things on a positive note..”

“You really want to end things..?”

“Li.. You kind of messed up once flirting up that girl.. it’s fine though. Like I had fun on what we did.. But I don’t think this will work out we should be friends..” I suggested

Liana stayed silent as she processed what I said. Before she nodded.

“Friends..” Liana said while smiling softly.

I smiled back feeling relieved of the fact she’s was accepting. I wrapped my arms around her neck and hugged her tightly. When hugged me back before loosening her grip.

“One more kiss?” Liana suggested making me chuckle.

I leaned forward and pressed our lips together. Liana responded and began kissing me back softly. I separated us pressing our foreheads together. Liana began chuckling softly as I did aswell. We let one another go and made our way to the stairs..
