Never Look Away
That was interesting.
Harry’s POV
Walking down the hallway, I could feel everyone’s eyes land on us. We knew why we were here and it made me nervous. Carly was walking just a little bit in front of me and I knew that she wasn’t happy about being here.
“Just go right it.” The lady who was leading us gestured to the door of unhappiness.
We nodded and walked it. I held the door open for Carly, she looked up at me with an anxious look in her eyes. We sat down at the table and looked up at the group of angry people ahead of us.
“So, how have you two been?” An older woman asked with a very fake smile.
“Great.” I mumbled as the door opened behind us.
I turned around to see my manager, Paul, closing the door behind him. He looked upset too but I ignored it, I’m used to people being mad at me for everything. I turned back around so I could look at the angry group of people.
“You guys can start now.” Paul mumbled as he leaned against the short bookshelf.
“What were you two doing at the hospital together yesterday?” One of the stout men asked bluntly.
“Visiting a friend.” I looked right into his eyes and spoke.
“A friend? You both have the same friend and are close enough to visit when they’re in the hospital? I’m sorry but that’s complete bullshit.” The man started pacing the room as he spoke. “You have no idea what you two have done. Harry, I’ve never seen you do such a stupid thing until you got with this broad.” He pointed at Carly. “You need to pull your head out of your ass and loo-“
“John, that is no way to speak to them.” Paul actually stood up for us and I could tell he wasn’t mad at us.
“Can I say something?” Carly asked standing up and started without waiting for them to say anything. “Yea we have a mutual friend who asked for us personally. Her situation is more important than how this will affect our reputation. That girl has become one of our best friends and it’s not very nice to say stuff like that about anyone that’s in the hospital. You have no right to-“
“That’s enough, you can sit down now.” The old woman who was polite earlier interrupted Carly.
“That maybe “enough” but I’m not done.” She looked at the grumpy old man who called her a broad. “And you, you don’t even know me so you don’t know what I’m like. Don’t call me anything until you take the time to know me. I’m sorry I give you the impression that I’m a broad but I am not one. I know that I’m being disrespectful right now but I honestly know no other way to get my point across.” She looked at the woman again. “Now I’m done.” She sat back down and crossed her legs.
The group was speechless, you could see it in their faces. Even I was speechless, I’ve been in here a lot and never seen anyone do that to them.
“So, is there anything else?” Paul asked impatiently. “Are you guys ready?” He asked looking down at us.
We both nodded and stood up. Carly grabbed her jacket and walked out, into the hallway while Paul held the door for us. I could tell that she wasn’t happy but she looked proud of herself. Once the door was closed Paul walked ahead of us but stopped only a few feet away from the door.
“I just want to say I think you handled that really well.” Paul was looking into Carly’s eyes. “You are not a broad in anyway and it was wrong of him to say that. I wasn’t mad at all when I walked in there, I was kind of annoyed that they were even making a big deal about it. I understand going to see someone in the hospital and I’m sure your fans will too.” He took a deep breath and looked at me. “Can you please let the guys know that we have a meeting tomorrow at noon here?”
“Sure.” I nodded as Carly slipped her hand into mine.
“And you're more than welcome to come with them. I actually think having you here would really help the rest of management realize that you two stick together.” He was looking at both of us. “Please come with them?”
“Of course.” She smiled at him.
“Thank you. Well, you guys can go now.” He pulled out his phone and held it to his ear. “Hello?” He waved to us and walked away.
“That was interesting.” Carly breathed out.
“Yea, I’ve never seen anyone talk to them like that.” I smiled and set my free hand on her hip. “I love you Carly.”
“And I love you Harry.” She leaned in and kissed me as she let go of my hand and wrapped her arms around my neck.

Thanks so much! Loved both stories! And yeah I've been writing but I had to stop because of school and all the work.
