Chapter 18: Secrets
(The hotel @ 11:45am on Sunday)
Carly’s POV
“It was nice to see you again.” Perrie hugged Louis goodbye.
“You too. Good luck on tour, I’m sure you’ll do great.” Louis smiled as they let go of each other.
“Thank you.” She smiled at him and then looked to me, I was the last one besides Zayn since he was taking her to the airport. “Can we talk alone for a minute?”
“Yea, sure.” I was in a pretty good mood so being nice wasn’t hard.
She grabbed my hand gently and led me out of the hotel room. It made me kind of nervous because once the door closed, she was happy and smiling.
“Are you okay?” I asked touching her arm.
“I need you to do me a favor.” I nodded. “I have to end things with Zayn and I need you to be here to comfort him.”
“What?!” I stepped back in shock. “You're breaking up with him even after this weekend? You both looked so happy?”
“I am happy when we’re together but when we’re apart, all we do is argue. I know that he isn't happy when we’re apart and neither of us are going to give up our dreams. Neither of us are really in love.” She didn't look sad about it. “I need you to promise me you’ll be here to make sure he’s okay.”
“I will but only because I care about him, not for you at all.” I shook my head and reached for the door.
“But…” She whimpered as I looked at her again.
“You lost my respect because you led him on this entire weekend and let him belief that you loved him. I understand breaking up with him but I don’t understand why you're doing it like this. Good luck on tour Perrie.” I turned back to the door and walked into the room with a plastered on smile and Perrie following behind me.
“Well, I guess it’s time to go.” Zayn mumbled as he slipped his phone back into his pocket.
Perrie picked up her purse and looked around at us. We smiled at her and watched her walk toward the door with Zayn.
“Bye.” She waved and we waved back before the disappeared through the door.
“Well, I need to go too.” Paul said as he walked to the door. “Get 5SOS and be downstairs by 1:30.”
We nodded and then looked at each other while he left the room. Louis took a seat on the bed with a sigh. Harry draped his arm around my shoulders and pulled me closer.
“Let’s go hangout with the boys.” Harry offered.
“You do that and I’ll go down to the gym and work out.” I shrugged out of his arm.
“Why? You don’t need to work out for a ‘shoot and you're still tiny.”
“I don’t want to take a chance of gaining weight before my shoot and I like being tiny thank you very much.” I stuck my nose up and pretended to pout.
“Is someone trying to look good for the perfume ‘shoot?” Liam asked with a mocking tone.
“She doesn’t even need to try though, I mean look!” Harry said as he put his hand on my butt.
“Hands off the merchandise Styles.” I moved away quickly and bumped into Niall. “Sorry.”
“It’s fine.” He chuckled and moved aside so I could stand next to him while he wrapped his arm around my shoudlers.
“Oh but he can touch you? I see.” Harry crossed his arms over his chest.
“He isn't all up on my ass so yeah.” I stuck my tongue out at him and he flipped me off before walking away to the bed.
“He’s a sore loser.” Niall scoffed, let go of me and went to the bed too.
I walked over to my bag and picked it up before going to the bathroom to change. When I walked back out of the bathroom, all the guys were up and looking at me.
“What’s up?” I asked setting my bag down.
“We’re all going to the arena so we can work out together.” Louis answered me while everyone else nodded.
“Oh.” I reached into my bag and pulled out a pair of jeans.
I pulled the jeans on over my running shorts and buttoned them before slipping my running shoes. They all looked away while I did and I laughed when I was done getting dressed.
“You guys act like you’ve never seen me in less.” I picked up my bag and phone up.
“It’s just weird to watch you change though.” Niall laughed walking toward me with his bag. “Let’s go guys.”
