Chapter 14: Breakfast with the Bands
Carly’s POV
“Will you grab me a water?” Harry asked as I got myself a water.
I grabbed him one too and sat between him and Ashton again. Harry smiled when I handed him the water and then went back to eating his pancakes and scrambled eggs as I did the same.
“So, Carly, I hear that you’re going to be their mascot basically?” Ashton wasn’t one to use subtlety.
“Yea, I guess I am.” I laughed taking another bite of food.
“You should rock some of our clothes too.” He said nicely. “Please Carly, you’d look awesome in them?” He was basically begging.
“Ashton, you don’t need to beg. I will, just give me some shirts and I’ll wear it.” I laughed at his blushing cheeks.
“I was not begging.” He pouted.
“Whatever you say Mr.Dimples.” I poked his exposed dimples. “I swear, you and Harry could be bro-“
“Carly?” Paul’s voice interrupted me form the other end of the table.
“Yes?” I asked looking over at him as the table got quiet.
“You have a ‘shoot in less than an hour.” He said looking down at his phone. “The car will be here at 10:00.”
“Alright.” I looked at the time and saw that it was already 9:22. “I need to go get ready.” I said to Harry as I stood up.
“Okay.” He nodded.
“I want you to wear this today.” Harry took off his lucky airplane necklace.
“Really?” I asked in a surprised voice.
“Yea, this isn't just a normal shoot, this is your first one for us. I want to be with you even know I cant be there.” He stood behind me and clipped it around my neck.
I looked at him in the mirror as he put it on me. A smile crept onto his lips as he fixed it. I turned around, meeting eyes with him and smiled.
“Thank you Harry.” I touched the pendant that rested on my chest. “This means so much to me.”
“You're welcome Carly, I love you.” He whispered to me.
“I love you too.” I said leaning up to kiss him.
A knock on the door interrupted our kiss. I leaned back with a sigh and walked to the door. When I opened it I saw Liam standing in front of me with a smile.
“Hello lovely, they're here for you.” He said quietly. “And I’ll walk you down.”
“Okay, thanks. I’ll be right back.” I let the door close and walked back to where Harry was standing. “Alright, I gotta go.”
“You’ll do great.” He kissed my forehead and handed me my purse. “I know you will.”
“Thank you.” I walked back to the door.
With one hand on the pendant and the other on the door handle, I opened the door to see Liam talking to Niall. They both smiled at me and then walked closer to me.
“You look nice.” Niall complimented me and handed me a cup of coffee.
“Thank you. I swear, you're being coming my coffee angel.” I laughed taking it from him.
“Harry let you wear his necklace?” Liam asked pointing to the necklace.
“Yea, I’m going to give it back after the shoot.” I smiled feeling it once again. “I should probably go.”
“We’re here to make sure you get there safely.” Niall smiled leading the way to the elevator.
“Hello Carly, I’m Katie Mae, the photographer.” She was a pretty lady with strawberry blonde hair that looked natural and gentle blue eyes. “It’s nice to finally meet you, I’ve seen some of your previous work, it’s great.”
“Oh thank you.” I smiled at her and then looked down at my feet.
“You're wearing Harry’s necklace?” She asked pointing to the necklace that I kept playing with. “he really loves you.”
“I hope so because I love him too.” I blushed.
“That’s sweet. Okay, we should probably get started since you need to be back by 4:00.” She paused and took a very deep breath. “So today we wont be doing the perfume ‘shoot because we need the guys to do that one. We’re going to do some ‘merch.”
“Okay.” I shrugged.
“Alright, just follow me.” She led me toward the makeup area where a young man with dark brown eyes met us. “This is John, John this is Carly. He will be doing your hair and makeup.”
