The Enthralled Dream (re-writing)

It was time. Everyone knew it. It was time for me to do this. They couldn’t touch me here. I was safe for the first time since he passed.
My choice of song was what kept me going during the abuse… and the miscarriage.
“Liz?” I felt a shake, making me jump up.
“Huh? What?” I asked, realizing it was just Marcus, my best friend since day one.
Marcus was there when my dad died, through the abuse, and is running with me now. Many people thought we were dating all through high school… until Marcus came out.
Like he stood by my side, I stood by his through the bullying, tears, and hardships that came with being gay.
“Liz, we landed,” he said, making me stand up.
Today, we would be settling into a hotel room. Tomorrow, I would be auditioning for the X-Factor UK and doing things with my life… to prove everyone wrong.
To prove them wrong.

Hello, everyone! So, this story is undergoing some MAJOR editing... like taking the Christina Grimmie background out of it.
I was reading this back and realized that I was like thirteen chapters in and there were like fifty plot holes because I had changed things.
So, I'm changing it all! :)
Hopefully, with these changes come better votes. :)
