The wedding was a beautiful ceremony. The reception was also very nice. It was in a hotel banquet hall but it was lit with pretty lights and it felt very homey. Very much a modern, beautiful Midwest wedding and I loved it.

Harry Irwin gave a really funny best man speech. He’s adorable. There’s something really cute abut a man having his thirteen-year-old brother be his best man at his wedding.

Ashton took the microphone to speak. He talked about how much he loved my sister, and they really did look like they were in love. I was really happy for them.

“I’m so excited that I now have this new family.” Ashton said, referring to my parents and I. “I have a little surprise for you guys, Kari and I are honeymooning in Hawaii, but we’re going to take a cruise there. And we would love if Dave, Marie and Aiden came on that cruise with us.”

Wow! We were going to all cruise to Hawaii and then fly home while Ashton and Kari start their real honeymoon.

That night, I was dancing my butt off at the dance. It was fun to drink, since I was old enough to in Australia. I kept texting my friend, saying that I’m at a wedding dance with 5SOS. She kept freaking out and asked if I took selfies with them.

No I didn’t ask to take selfies with them.

My friend also asked if Arzaylea was there. I could see at the table Luke was at that she was there with him. My friend said I should splash a drink in her face.

I would never actually do that, I’m civilized. And frankly, I don’t actually hate her. I mean, she’s dating my boo, but that’s no reason to hate her.

For some reason, I really thought that someone from 5SOS would talk to me. I don’t know why I automatically assumed that they would try to talk to me or be social with me. Maybe because I was in the wedding with them, I don’t know.

The next morning, we slept in and then went to the gift opening that Ashton and Kari were doing. It was there that we learned we were leaving for the cruise the next day.

It was also there that I learned that the other 5SOS boys were coming with.

I was going on a cruise with 5SOS.
