"Hi Princess." I kiss Ally's cheek. Louis and El have just dropped her off and heading to a motel their choice. "Should we wake daddy up?" She beams at the 'd' word.

I carry her in my arm, she clings onto my sweater. I run my hands through her curls, reminding me of Harry every single day. We have been here staying at Anne's who does not leave the hospital, it has been two weeks and Gemma remains the same. Harry and I wake up, drive to the hospital, spend the day and come home then go to bed.

I let Harry be distant and minimal conversations flow. I know he is hurting but again he shuts me out, he has been acting so strange but again I let it be.


I put Ally down and open the door, his back to us in a black t-shirt, his light snores still to this day makes me giggle. "We have to be very very quiet." I pick her up and tip toe to his side of the bed facing the window.


I place her on top of Harry instantly he moves. "My princess." He picks her up raising in the air, nestling his nose into her little one. "Daddy." She grins, he places her on his lap.

"When did she get in." She clings onto him just as much as she does onto his t-shirt. His red puffy eyes still the same and his slender frame, he is losing weight.

"About half hour, Lou and El dropped her off, went to a motel."

"I missed you superstar." He kisses the top of her head. "Did you umm try and explain." Harry wonders. "Umm all I said was Aunty Gem was sick and asleep in the hospital." I start pulling the threads of the duvet.

"Better get ready." He gives me Ally. He stands and stretches then kisses my cheek. "Good morning." He moves into the ensuite bathroom.


While Harry gets ready I put some of Ally's stuff away into our wardrobe space which is overflowing. She sits on the bed with her toy elephant. I slip on some ankle boots and I am done.


I read a little book with her while we wait for Harry.

"Here is the thin sheep, and here is the wide sheep." I trace over the words with my index finger, reading out loud.

Harry finally comes out already dresses, knowing his daughter his in the room already. "Not the sheep book again." He arranges some of his damp curls.

"Ok, ready honey." I lift Ally up, "let me take her." He strides our way taking her and she is at automatic ease. I think the thing that keeps him going is Ally and it's wonderful.




"There you go superstar." Harry buckles her in the Rover. He then steps in and start the drive.

"Ok we have to be very, very gentle with Aunty Gem ok." I say to Ally who nods. "Good girl." Harry is already in the room, I allow myself in her room, minimal chatter looming.

"Say hello." I lower Ally down and her little fingers touch Gemma's cheek. "Say I miss you Gemma."

"Miss tuuu Gemmhah." Harry chuckles at his daughter.

"Blow a kiss." I do the action, and Ally attempts to blow a kiss.

"My grand baby." Anne returns and immediately takes her granddaughter. "I'll take her for a walk." I nod

Everyone has gone to get some rest in the cafeteria with Ally. Harry and I stay by Gemma like we have been the past couple weeks. Then there is a knock on the door.

"Hey can we come in?" Louis pops his head in. I nod my head and leave a sleeping Harry on the couch corner of the room. "Hey." El whispers, handing me a bouquet of flowers.

"Have a seat." I say and they do, it's a pretty spacious room. "Where's Lucas?" I ask replacing the flowers. "My parents." El says and I smile.

"Hey how is he?" Louis looks to a sleeping Harry. "His Harry." I whisper.

Harry's pov:


"His Harry." She says. Please Bella I'm sorry, this is what I do to cope I hurt you. If it wasn't for my daughter god knows where I'd be. I slip out of my slumber shuffling myself.

"Hey look whose awake." Bella smiles. "Hey mate." I get up and acknowledge my best friend and his wife.

"Thanks for coming." I yawn. "Where is Ally?" I asked. "Still with your mum." Bella smiles. My mother bless her. I know her having Ally will minimise some of this frustrating pain.

"I'm gonna go for a walk." I slip my shoes back on. "I'll come." Louis stands.



"H." Louis exhales frustratingly, not recognising who is best friend is anymore, heck I don't even know who I am anymore and the situation with Gemma heightens everything.


"I don't know what to do anymore." I drop my head in my hands, he pats my back. "You'll figure it out."

"What if I can't. Bella she does not deserve someone like me, and Ally needs a better example." I rest the back of my head back of the wall, sipping on some water. Thank god for Louis I knew he will never judge me.



"HARRY." Bella calls out!
