"Shall we go."
"Sure. Where?" She asks curiously grabbing her gold clutch. "It's for you to find out." I stretch my arm out and connect it with hers.
"Bye. Thanks Lou." She waves. Lou winks and mouths 'good luck'
I escort Dianna to the hotel underground car park where the limo awaits. I notice her shortness of breath and worry. "Ar you ok?" She nods convincingly. Is tonight a good idea? I mean I don't want to tire her.
I open the car door and place my hand on her lower back and wait for her to climb in the car. Once she's in I climb in.
Dianna's POV:
Could this boy anymore perfect? I can't believe this all I am truly spoilt. But again I can't help I am part of make a wish foundation. Is this all because of pity? Or because he feels sorry for me. I mean I appreciate of course I do, it's just well I don't know what it is. My eyes follow the trees as the limo takes us down the boulevard.
We sit in an comfortable silence but I feel myself getting tired and nauseated. No not tonight, tonight my illness will behave for once and I will take part of a normal life. Oh god my stomach is turning. "Not tonight." I whisper.
"Pardon?" Harry asks.
"I said it's beautiful." I refer to the sun set that's hitting the city. "It is." He smiles.
I take a deep breath and reach for a mint in my clutch.
After a few short minutes we approach a very large crowd and chatter bursts through the car windows. Where the hell has he taken me? The car gets closer and there is more people among more people. Then I notice a massive poster. Oh my god how could I forget, Harry his in a movie, not only a movie but a most anticipated movie of the year. Well of course it did come from the genius Christopher Nolan.
"Wow." I exclaim, "Were here." Harry pats my knee. "Ready?"
"Not really?" I feel my anxiety running through my veins journeying to my chest. Harry hops out of the car and comes around opening my door. He helps me out, "I won't let go." I take his reassuring arm. "Just breathe." He winks.
I take his advice and breathe. There are so many people and so many screaming people. A lot of fans, we glide slowly across the carpet. Harry signs some posters and takes some photos and I admire him during this specific moment.
The yelling screaming, chanting of his name is wild. But he interacts while keeping an eye on me simultaneously.
"You alright?" He yells. "Never better." He shepherds me further down the carpet. We stop and he places a hand around my waist and we stand for some photos. The flashes, questions being yelled how does he do this. "A little overwhelming?" He whispers as the flashes fire. I nod my head. He then steps behind me and gestures his hands so everyone takes a photo of me. He creeps up behind me, "indulge in this all." I obediently stand here and let the paps take photos of me.
Ok that's enough. I breathe again and Harry takes me by the hand and we walk into the cinema.
"Did you enjoy that?" There's that tone again, is it pity. I just nod.
We arrive in the cinema and take our seats. Harry is next to Fionn Whitehead they seem to get along. "Sorry this is my friend. Dianna." He introduces me. I shake Fionn's hand, well his also good looking, must be something in the British waters. The lights go down and the movie commences.
The tears roll down my face, lucky Lou used waterproof mascara. This movie is just beyond fathomable. They way Nolan has captured such a historic even into present day cinema is unreal. The characters how they survived as one. The journey these soldiers had to endure. And of course Harry I stare at him from the corner of my eye I can tell his proud. His character was polar opposite to himself which I loved. He is a true superstar his acting abilities and his flawless ability to portray a character so different blew me away.
And it definitely made me question my own life. Here I am complaining when my life can be saved. These poor soldiers had no other alternatives once there time was up they didn't even know, their life was just taken from them. Soldiers are the real heres and most selfless humans to walk earth.
We walk out of the cinema and I feel a chill. Harry the gentleman drapes his jacket along me. Side effects come out to play as my breathing is shortened and I am extremely exhausted. I sigh heavily taking a deep breath.
"How you enjoy the movie?" I blink a few times. "It was amazing, I never had a doubt."
"favorite part?"
"When you swore. Twice." I smack his arm playfully and he laughs.
"Hey you feeling ok?"
Shit he notices my fatigue. "Yea I will be." I half lie. "Well it's eleven. I better get you back Cinderella."
Harry's POV:
I am so relieved and glad she had a good night. I notice her shed a few tears during the movie, such a sensitive soul. I am glad I could play a part in some of her happiness even if is for just one evening. I haven't told this but I had some of my schedule shifted. I am promoting my album and will be in La same amount of time as her and jet to New York with her and father, I'm hoping to join them in Hawaii. I also added Melbourne to my tour dates so I can be on her turf with her in November.
I don't what is about her and her father, i just want to be in their presence all the time I can. A little bit of perspective never hurt anyone.
Her head rests on my shoulder. She is pale, laboured breathing and shivering. Shit I hope I haven't pushed her too much. I take my jacket off her and bring her closer to me and rub her arms slowly her goosebumps fade. Her heart, soul have been broken too many times by life I hope I can be part of some sort of mending.
We pull up at the hotel and she is fast asleep. I don't want to wake her. So i don't, I carry her up to my room bridal style, she is so light carrying her is no tall order. I arrive to my room and Lou answers she lets us in quietly. She informs she will be going back to her room as I lay Dianna on the bed. I grab her phone from her clutch and call her dad.
"It's me Harry."
"Harry have you bought my daughter back yet." I adore his fatherly protection.
"Yes sir, she's in my room exhausted she can sleep in my bed I'll be in the next room." I had him huff. "Ok. Ok, just make sure she has her tablets before she completely falls asleep." I take note.
"Absolutely, See you tomorrow."
I hate to wake her but this time I have to. I tap her shoulder gently. "Dianna, love". She lightly jolts up, "sorry to wake you, but you need to have your tablets before you sleep."
She nods her head. I head into the bathroom and fill a glass of water. "Where are they?" she points to her clutch. I invade her privacy for a moment and see them.
I go back to the bed, and rewake her. "I'm sorry love I know your tired." She gets up again. I pass her the water and she swallows her pills and throws her pillow back down.
How does she do this all?
So far, this is interesting. And I like it
Well done
