I rummage through my suitcase like a lunatic. "Relax babe." Kylie tells me, like thats going to happen. I meeting Fionn in half an at the bar downstairs. Why didn't I bring better clothes to England. Well little did I know I'd be going out on a date.

After it she helps me with a little makeup and curls the ends of my hair. I apply some lip gloss and press my lips together.


"Wait your phone." Kylie hands it to me. "Umm don't worry about it" I decline. "I'll see you when I do" I wink on my way out. I get into the elevator and smile. Fionn seems like a nice enough guy one drink won't harm.


I ruffle my hair a bit and the elevator stops I step taking a solicited breath. Immediately I see him waiting.

"Hope you weren't waiting long" I go in for a hug and he pecks my cheek.

He pulls my chair out and tucks me in. Wow I'm nervous.

About five mocktails later time has fleeted. We are in such awe of each others company. I learned about Fionn he grew up in London, three older siblings. His parents jazz singers and when he was young he aspired to be a breakdancer.




"ohh is that the time" I glance at my watch. "Wow." He smirks.

"We should do this again" He says while walking to me to the elevator. "Yea be nice" I hug him goodbye.

"See you soon." I get in the elevator gleefully.


I had a great night genuinely and he is such a nice guy, but we only just properly met. Who knows what is to come.


I get to my room and dad isn't back yet, his a grown man he can do what he pleases. I check my phone and yep dad is staying with Lou. My mouth falls to the floor. What? How? Why? Why now? I fume with anger.
