The Vampire Hunt
Chapter 1
Harry's POV
I was home with Zayn, Niall, and Liam. Louis had to go out and buy some groceries for dinner. We were all in the living rooming, watching TV and laughing.
"Wheeeeeeeerrre's Louie?" Niall whined, "I'm hungry!"
"Louis wouldn't have to go buy groceries if you didn't have to eat all the food in the house," Liam said, pointing a finger at Niall. Niall pouted. Everyone else laughed.
"Besides, Niall. You're always hungry," Zayn said, rolling his eyes. Niall thought for a moment and nodded, "Yeah, I guess that's true."
Everyone laughed again. I checked my phone. It was 9:36. Louis should've been home already. I looked up at the others.
"Guys, it's 9:30 and Louie isn't back yet," I said, worried.
"Yeah, I guess so, but where could he be?" Liam wondered.
Zayn pulled out his phone and called Louis, waiting for him to pick up, but he doesn't. Zayn looks at the others while Louis' vociemail plays through the awkard slience.
Niall stood up. "We should try to find Louie," He said, forgeting about his stomach.
"Yeah. Does anyone remember what store Louie said he was going to go shopping at?" I asked.
"Um.. I think it was... Oh! It was Costco's!" Niall said.
Everyone else stood up. "Alright, we should try to pick up Louie' scent and follow it," Liam said, signaling everyone to walk outside. Once, everyone reached outside they began trying to find Louis' scent. I tried to mind control Louis (which usually was me banging loudly in Louis' mind while he got irritated. I could never actually once possess him though) but failed. I couldn't sense his presence anywhere close by. We walked into town, wearing disguises so people wouldn't recognize us. My vampire abilites allow me and the others to have basically super hearing. I heard a couple girls walking out of Costco's gossiping about Louis Tomlinson being there. I told the others what I had heard and we walked into the store, unnoticed by any fans. We searched every aisle twice, unable to find him. We decided to wait the night at home, hoping he would come home safely. As we were walking home we pasted an alley, completely unaware of who was hiding in there until we heard a small thud. A small can rolled next to my shoe. All of us looked up to see who it was and we saw a big pair of what use to be blue, but now red glowing eyes, messy but noticeable feathery hair, and sharp fangs popping out from the corner of his teeth.
"L-louie?" Niall stuttered, all that he was able to make out. Niall started crying and Liam helded onto him, letting him cry in his shoulder. Louis looked very different but still recognizable. Louis bared his fangs at Niall, then the rest of us, hissing. It was hard to see Lou like this. He was always friendly, and could always lend you a shoulder to cry on, whenever you were upset. I was only confused on what had droven him into this state, no doubt Louis has lost control and his vampire instincts activated. Louis used telekinesis to lift up several garbage cans and threw them at us. Zayn automatically stepped in front of us and smashed the cans out of the way.
Louis hissed at Zayn and jumped on a can, then jumping on the roof of a small building, disappearing. I looked at Zayn, then Niall and Liam. Zayn showed no emotion, while Liam was trying to comfort Niall, who was crying.
"G-guys," I managed to say, "We s-should head back. W-we have to think of a plan to help Louis,"
Zayn went closer to where Louis has last stood, in his place, was a dead body on the ground. A female, his neck had a fang mark on it, her blood was sucked dry. Her eyes showed fear and her hair was messy. She had several scratches on her face and arms. Zayn lifted the body and put it over his shoulder. Everyone stared at him, Niall stared, then began crying once more. They buried the body on the ground of the alley and I left a small flower on where her mame-shift grave would be. The boys walked back home in slience. They all laid on the couch in the living room.
"Okay.. I have an idea about how to stop Louie," Zayn declared. He looked around, no one else had any ideas on how, so Zayn began explaining his plan.
"First, we have to lure him out. With blood most likely," Zayn said, hearing Niall gasp, " Anyways, after that we gotta capture him using our abilites. But be careful, Lou always had the most time spent on using his powers. He is more advanced than us. Once we catch him though, we have to find out what happened to him."
"And then, we try to help him get his mind and body back," Liam said, continuing.
"There's just one thing I don't understand," I said, "Lou could control his vampire a lot better then us, he never had trouble controlling it until now, why?"
"Goodquestion. Although, I'm not really sure. I'm guessing it has something to do with another person, forcing Louie to let out his inner vampire," Zayn said, "Maybe a Vampire Hunter?"
Everyone shuddered at the thought. But they were all determined to help Louie, no matter what. The boys spent the rest of the night laughing and having fun. Even Niall stopped crying, after a while.
