Forever In My Heart
Chapter Three
"What are you doing here?" I ask harshly, extremely frustrated.
"I had to see my daughter on her wedding day.." She hesitates. I roll my eyes and let out a sarcastic laugh.
"Really? Cause you didn't care about me since the age of 5! Once dad was gone, so were you!" I yell.
I know I'm causing a scene. I know people are staring. But i don't care. I don't want her here. She thinks she can leave me for 18 years and just come back the one day she wants to? No. It doesn't work that way. Maybe if she came around every once in a while. Or better yet, if she hadn't left in the first place!
"I felt like leaving was best for you!" She fights back. "Oh yeah cause leaving your daughter at 5 years after she lost her father, having her stay with her grandmother, is the best decision. " "It's what i thought would be the best outcome." She says. I roll my eyes once more. "Well it wasn't. Losing dad was hard enough. Then losing you? Going to stay with grandma? What kid wants to have that happen to them?"
"You know what! I'm glad i got to stay with gran! She treated me better than you ever did on her bad days! I want you out of here. NOW!" I yell.
She slowly looks at the ground sad. Typically, i would feel bad at this time. But being the person that abandoned me after my dad died, didn't give me any sympathy for her.
Finally she leaves and i walk to the spare room attached to the venue, where no one else was. Soon enough, Niall walks in to find me. "Lauren?" "Over here.." I say slumped next to the window, overlooking the stars. "I'm sorry she had to come here and ruin things..." He says. I look up at him.
"Niall. It is not your fault. It's nobody's but her own. She can't just leave and come back 18 years later, hoping she can be a part in my big day. My wedding is something special, and i only want people that mean something to me to be a part of it. She doesn't."
"I just want to forget that happened. Just go out there with my new husband, and have the best night of my life." I finally finish. He smiles wide.
"That i can help with." He kisses my lips softly before going back to the party room. It's quite quiet and people looked panicked.
"Alright crank up the music and let's get this party started!" Niall yells, immediately changing the mood of the whole scenery.
Thank God i have Niall. I have for a long while now. But i can finally say he's mine forever. And he's never gonna go anywhere. He'll always and forever be in my heart.

Soooo sorry i took like 10 years to update. Ive been sooo busy lately!Well that was a nice scene Lauren's mother caused aye? How do you think their marriage will start off? A bit rocky, or like a fairytale?
