Changing My Life

Amy's POV
We were in the limo on our way to their flat. I was trying to contain my excitement. Liam and Louis were seated beside me whilst Niall and Harry were next to them. During the limo ride Harry was texting a lot and the boys were picking on him. I said nothing since I was very shy but still comfortable in their presence.
Liam sitting next to me was giving me goosebumps because of my feelings towards him. I know I only know him from the media but I can't ignore the connection between us. It feels like heaven when he speaks to me or brushes his hand with mine. I'm trying not to stare which is really difficult since he's way taller than me and fiscally bigger than me. I hope no one notices my soft spot for Liam. I don't know if it's love at first sight since I don't know him that well nor how he feels, as if he feels the same way but whatever. Right now I'm focusing on getting to know them better and treasuring this one time blessing.
We arrived at what I assumed was their apartment complex and made our way to the top. No surprise there, that One Direction lives in a penthouse. We go in and it's huge. There's a massive living room with a huge couch and recliners and love seats. A huge T.V. and a fireplace. Then there's a dining room with a long table and windows with an awesome view.
"Make yourself at home love, I'll go get some snacks and we can talk yeah?" Louis suggested.
We all agreed and of course Niall goes to help. That boy and his food.
They soon come back with five bowls of popcorn. We were all seated and started talking they asked me to talk about myself. I was really nervous but tried to stay cool. Liam was again sitting next to me and so was Louis. Niall and Harry were on the recliners.
"So, Amy. Tell us about yourself." Liam urged.
"Well ... I'm 18. I just moved here today. I love music and drawing. 5SOS, Demi Lovato and you guys are my favorite artists. I don't have any friends or family at home nor here. I don't have a job so I'm always drawing, reading or listening to music. My favorite color is purple. I love to watch T.V series like The Vampire Diaries, Teen Wolf and Pretty Little Liars because I love a little horror but still a sucker for romances. Umm ... I'm really weird around people because I'm really shy and my dream is to work in the music industry."
"Well I don't know about the other lads but as for me I can say that I'm your friend, you can call anytime. You don't have to be alone, you're a really cool girl Ams. Besides we will be seeing more of you since Simon wants to talk to you". Liam said. Oh my gosh that nickname gave me goosebumps.
"Yeah" they all agreed
I was dumbfounded why would they want to be friends with me !! I haven't made an impression on them only embarrass myself.
"Thanks ... you don't have to say that you were already really nice to me by letting me hang out"
"It's our pleasure love, we love company and you seem like a really nice girl, with a really nice personality given a rough past. With a great taste in music if I may add" Louis said with a wink. He's so carefree and funny I can never be upset around these guys.
"I really should change my ringtone" I mumbled under my breath but I guess they heard.
"No it's fine love, no need to be embarrassed that you love our music" Harry said.
"Yeah, what's your favorite song on the album?" Niall asked.
"That's a tough question cause I like all of them for different reasons" I said. It was true I could never choose a song cause they were all too good in their own different ways.
"That's okay love, You can tell us if some of them are rubbish" Louis said chuckling.
"No really I love all of them for different reasons. The message behind each song sticks to me in different ways I just can't pick one. It's my taste of music I guess and then when you add your voices with the lyrics and music, it's just simply amazing". They all nodded understanding whilst I blabbed about how I basically drool over their music. I swear I keep on embarrassing myself but then again it's what I'm good at.
"How about we tell you about us now ? It's only fair" Liam said. I just nodded.
"Well, I'll start. I'm Louis the Tommo Tomlinson but you obviously now that, I'm 24 and I have a son named Freddie. I like the color red. I'm from Doncaster and I love carrots. I'm really carefree and funny. Very protective of my friends and family. I have a girlfriend named Danielle and I'm currently working with Simon on the X factor" Louis started.
"haha ... I like carrots too and Freddie is really cute and I'm a huge Danielle fan"
"Then we are gonna get along really well love." Everyone was laughing.
"Haha .. okay, I'm Nialler, I'm 22 and I'm from Ireland and I looooove food. I like golf and playing the guitar. I'm absolutely obsessed with my nephew Theo because he's just too cute. I'm a carefree MOFO and I try to make a smile on everybody's face. I'm currently writing some songs but they're not finished yet" Niall said and we were all laughing at his face when he mentioned food.
"Well Niall I love food too just not as much as you and I love guitar music but I don't know how to play"
"That's okay I'll teach you if you want to learn" he said.
"Thanks I would really like to" admitting that I want to both want to hang out with Niall since he's the type of guy that you would want as a best friend and because I always wanted to learn guitar.
"Okay we'll plan something later" he said flashing me one of his award winning grins. I could tell he was really looking forward to it and I don't know why.
"Well .. I'm Harry or Hazza call me what you want I'm 22 also. I'm British and I love cats. I'm currently working on a movie called Dunkirk and it's loads of fun on set. I love acting but it will never top singing and music. I love to hang out with the lads and just chill out." Harry said.
"Well I like cats as well but I love dogs more and I'm obsessed with sharks I really wish I could swim with one, one day" I said and they just sat there jaw dropped.
"What ?" I asked blushing, not getting why they are so surprise to what I said.
"Well .. that's a really great ambition you got there, but aren't you scared?" Niall asked.
"No not really, I studied sharks since I was little and watched every shark movie in history and they are so different in real life. I love watching documentaries about them but I hate that they picture them so viscous in movies"
"That's .... interesting. I never pictured you as adventurous" Louis said.
"Haha ... well I am. Anyways, it's just a passion nothing more"
"Well .. that was interesting I admire how you see the good in things and not the bad part."Liam said.
"Yeah I guess that's me. I don't like to look at the bad side, I like to see the good in people as well as creatures I guess"
"Well .. I'm Liam the Payne train or Daddy Direction or Payno. I'm 22 and I love turtles and dogs. I love Toy Story and Batman. I'm currently working on some solos during the hiatus. I'm very caring of my friends and family. I love surfing and working out in the gym and going on walks or jogging. And I'm really looking forward to hearing you sing".
"Well I like toy story too but I have never seen batman only spider man. I like going on walks too especially early in the morning or the middle of the night to just enjoy the serenity of the peace and quiet of nature. It helps calm me down and keep me sane just like music. I would really like to surf one day but that will never happen" I said trying to avoid him making me sing.
"Why is that?" Liam asks. Oh no this is so embarrassing they can't know.
"Come on you can tell us" Louis said. Oh well I've embarrassed myself enough what's one more thing ?
" Ican'tswim" I said really fast under my breath while looking down in embarrassment.
"huh ?" they all said in unison.
"I can't swim" I said a little louder not looking up.
"Oh that's okay, we'll teach you" Harry said.
"Yeah no need to be embarrassed" Liam said trying to make me look at him.
I finally looked up and was blushing like crazy to the fact that I can never seem to stop embarrassing myself in front of these boys. I shot them a sheepish smile and they tried to change the subject.
"Would you like to see the music room ? Maybe we could sing a few songs together ?" Liam said.
I cursed under my breath and tried to think of a way to get out of it.
"Well .. I had fun hanging out but I really should get going I have bothered you enough plus I have to mentally prepare for tomorrow" I said hoping to get out of it.
"No stay, we're enjoying your company we can have dinner together and we can talk about tomorrow if you're nervous" Niall said.
"Thank you for your offer but I think I should get going" I said standing up.
"Okay if you want to leave, we'll take you home" Liam said.
"Oh it's okay I'll call a cab"
"No I'll drive you" Liam said getting up. My heart fluttered at the thought of having alone time with Liam but then reality hit me like a brick. Well this was going to be great, alone with Liam more chances of me embarrassing myself.
"Umm.. okay if you insist thanks" at least I got out of singing in front of them.
They all hugged me goodbye and when I got to Louis he whispered something
"Don't think I didn't notice you gazing at Liam, you two look cute together I'm rooting for it" that made me blush and curse to the fact that he noticed.
I pulled away and looked at my feet immediately not wanting him to notice that he was right but he was grinning like an idiot.
He chuckled and joined the other's while me and Liam made our way downstairs to the car.
He opened the car door for me like a gentlemen and I was blushing like crazy.
He started the car while I was telling him my address while he put it in the GPS.
After 2 minutes of driving in silence while I was staring at the window just looking at London he spoke up
"So, do you live alone ?"
"yeah my family died in a car crash and I have no friends so yeah it's just me"
"Oh, right. Sorry it slipped my mind for a bit. Well you can call or text me and the other lads anytime you want when you are lonely or just wanna hangout or talk, you're always welcome."
"Oh thanks, but I don't have your number" I said in a silent tone not wanting to sound like I was asking for it.
"Oh how stupid am I, I forgot to give it to you." He said while pulling into my drive way. He parked and got his phone out. We exchanged phones and he put his number in it along with the boys' while I put mine in his phone. We exchanged phones again and I laughed at the nicknames in my phone.

"Haha thanks" I said.
"No problem love, I'll text you later and good luck for tomorrow, tell us all how it went maybe we can hangout again tomorrow, watch a movie or something.... you know we and the lads"
"Uhh sure thanks for the ride, would you like to come in?" I offered not wanting to be rude since they have been so nice.
"That's okay I should get going before they trash the house, maybe some other time soon" He said with a grin. Thank god because I don't know how long I could keep on going without screaming every time he says 'love' or is less than 5 feet away from me.
"Sure. Bye Liam, really nice meeting you and thanks again" I said while opening the car door.
"Bye Amy, nice meeting you too" He said while I closed the car door and watched him wave and drive off.
I got to my flat and plopped on the sofa not being able to stop smiling and remember what happened to me today.
I made dinner while watching T.V. then washed the dishes. I took a shower and plopped on my bed. Got my phone and saw 4 new messages.

I was literally gonna die with happiness. I quickly replied to them back and set an alarm for 7:30 am tomorrow since the limo will be here at 9 am. I also had a little fan girl moment letting it all out after all that happened to me today, happiness and excitement still evident on my face. That night I fell asleep with a huge smile on my face, the only worry on my mind was tomorrow's meeting.
