complete and utter abuse

I got woken up early by the sound of rustling in the kitchen. I got up and walked towards the kitchen. To my surprise I saw Matthew in there making breakfast.
“Um... Thank you?” I said hesitantly. No problem harry. He said with a smile on his face. I felt a bit awkward to think that he was making me breakfast after everything that has happened.
‘why are you making me breakfast?” I said then he gave me a look that said because I love you. I really thought that he changed so I sat with him for breakfast. I got ready for school and walked outside and to my surprise, he said that he would drive me. “I’ll just go get my keys then we’ll get going.” He said. My phone was ringing and I picked it up. “Hello?” It was Louis. Hi boo how are you?” I said with a smile. “Do you want a ride?” “No Matthew said he would drive me”, “ok see ya there.”
When I hung up, Matthew came out and asked who I was on the phone with. I just unconsciously replied with Louis’ name and then I remembered something that I’m guessing Matthew did too because after I said that his facial expression changed from smiling and happy to complete rage.
Without warning he lashed out at me and pushed me onto the grass and sat on top of my stomach. He started smashing me in the face.
“I am so not driving you after this!”

You could title it "a new beginning" or "a fresh start"
